Great wall of Bland!
First time we tried this take away. Almost no taste. The meals looked and smelled good but absolutely tasteless, no salt no pepper....big zero on the flavour score.
This is our third visit and meal from the China Cottage, I can only say the three times the food has been excellent, plenty of it, exactly what we ordered, just lovely. Thank you China Cottage. I cannot fault you.
Never had anything but nice food and good service.
This is the first time we have been here and it has to be the best Chinese take away we have tried to date. The food was really good and the prawn toast actually had prawns in it! We didn’t have that nasty oily taste afterwards either. Recommended
0 STARS - Charred or Cremated? Ordered a portion of spare ribs. Got overdone belly pork NO RIBS. Absolutely disgusting, had it not been peeing it down I would have taken them back. First time there - LAST time there! Appalling!
Huge value for money. Had spare ribs, special fried rice and pancake rolls with a side of vegetables. Lots of fresh cooked veg in sauce, six ribs with loads of meat and the special fried rice is a meal in itself. All as served with a smile.
Lovely king prawn curry with lots of prawns. Great Singapore rice. Only criticism was I thought the Koon Po was a little watery but all in all great value for money
The fried rice was very bland and stodgy. The whole meal we bought was bland the chips were soggy the pork chewy duck basically just fat. Never ordering from here again. Plus the staff seem very miserable and rude put the phone down on me after giving me a number although I hadn't finished talking
