We stayed at Purana and had arrived early, so were directed down to the Chill Out corner.
The area has numerous seats, recliners, and a hut overlooking the beach with cool pillows to lay on.
Admittedly, the prices are far higher than the more backpacking places, but everything is elevated. (Glassware, glass straws, great shakes, etc)
We may have ordered non alcoholic shakes and mixed our own purchased from elsewhere to save some costs.
The staff were amazing, very friendly, went the extra mile and even made one shake inside a coconut we watched him chop up.
The views get 5 stars but the service only gets 1. My husband and I stopped in for sunset beers. We weren’t staying at their resort but had scooted over to grab a beer and watch sunset. We stood at the bar for a good 5-10 minutes with the bar tender playing on a phone or iPad and totally ignoring us. It was laughable really as we didn’t even get a hello from him even though we both greeted him with a swadadee khrup/kha. He eventually looked up and served us by which stage the sun had set ???? but the colours in the sky afterwards were still amazing. The prices are high but the view is great.
Great music fitting of the relaxed atmosphere. It's right on the beach with nice sun chairs and a chill out platform. Cold beer, great mixed drinks, big shrimp in the meals.
Een geweldige plek en heerlijk om te ontspannen, prijzen zijn vergelijkbaar met andere locaties aan de oostkant van het eiland. Zonondergang is geweldig. Muziek niet te luid, goede muziek wat bij deze plek hoort.
Wir durften hier den Sonnenuntergang geniessen, einfach nur WOW!!! Alles soooo liebevoll gestaltet! Der Service war super nett! Es hat vor allem Drinks und nur ein paar kleine Gerichte...
