Ordered vegetable pad Thai and salt and pepper squid.
Both were pretty much inedible as it was extremely salty and way too much sauce. I started getting the salt sweats straight away!Salt and pepper squid also had no Chinese salt and pepper flavour.
I don’t usually like wasting food but I could not possibly ingest these.
Only pro is good service and big portions:
Avoid if you actually have an Asian palette.
Amazing experience at Chi Basingstoke. We received well and the food we ordered Pad Thai along with Thai chicken fried rice arrived on time, The taste is marvelous. Chef Islam was fantastic throughout the happenings there at Chi. We will be back again for sure
I went for lunch and ordered the beef short ribs and the beef ribs were sooo soft and tender as if they were melting in my mouth. I also had the chicken wings but they were over fried so I didn't like them that much. The food was really delicious and the cook Mr. Islam was very friendly and hospitable person. Surely will go back

Malaysian beef rendang is excellent but needs slightly more salt.

Really tasty meat, ramen broth deep flavour and some heat, baos soft and lush - fabulous! No more pics - ate the rest before we thought of it!
Meh.. the pad Thai wasn't the worst I've had but it was ruined by the excessive salty fish sauce. It needs to be dramatically reduced before I could consider it an authentic Thai dish. On the plus side, it's a big portion, but I can't say I'd be too keen to eat here again.

Staff are nice, and that Crispy tofu is to die for.
The bubble waffle could really do with thigh fillets instead of bone in chicken, but still amazing.
I just can't get enough of the Korean fried chicken, in any of its available formats, I want to try more stuff off the menu but when I get in, my taste buds remember the chicken and I instinctively order it again.
I'm a particular fan of the Banh-Mi (apologies if I butchered that) but the rice bowl was excellent. I've already sung praises to the chicken but the rice was fantastic, only down side for me is that there is a bit too much in the rice bowls and I feel bad for wasting food.
One day, I will resist the chicken and try something different.
