Absolutely painful to deal with this pharmacy. A couple of months ago it took 67 phone calls to get through and order a repeat prescription. When I went to collect it I was told that the doctor hadn't processed it. The doctors said the opposite. The exact same thing this month and the result, 9 days after I placed the order, third visit to the pharmacy, I still had to wait for them to reach the shelf and put a box in a bag.
Last time I give them any money.
They gave me the wrong prescription and I threw up because of it then had a nasty attitude when I came back and told them I just want the right medication. They blamed the Queensway surgery next to them for their mistake then rudely gave me the prescription. DANGEROUS pharmacy I could’ve been allergic to the medication given to me. Whatever you do don’t go here they won’t treat you with respect and won’t own up to their own mistakes. Disappointed, not ever coming back. They’re lucky I didn’t take them to court.

They almost never answer the phone. They don’t put you in a queue, they just simply don’t pick up the phone no matter how many times you redial. On multiple occasions I’ve put in my repeat prescription but they claim to have no record of it when I’ve been to pick it up, leaving me without medication. They’ve given me my prescription with missing items or the wrong dosages (both higher and lower than the amount I’m supposed to have) on a number of occasions. I could go on, but you get the gist.
Mr Ellis was very unhelpful in a situation in which he wouldn’t give me my daily medication. All the staff lied saying they couldn’t dispense due to LAW when it is actually POLICY which they later admitted. More interested in policy then helping human beings and stopping pain and suffering. Left a father and son outside worried and without a solution. Their policy is not forthright and they trick you into agreeing with it, without clearly ever explaining this. I do not remember agreeing to such a silly caveat. Shame on the staff. Will look to another pharmacy.
Friendly and efficient pharmacy. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you guys for your excellent service. You've helped our family through some rough, tough and torrid times. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!
I get all my medication here and I have to say the staff and management are always very helpful, friendly and professional.
It can get a little busy at times but there is sufficient seating and customers are always looked after, plus it's relatively easy to simply avoid busy times which are mainly around lunch.
Update:
I had to leave the pharmacy for my daily medication for another that opens an hour later, the reason being the main pharmacist changed to a new one who was almost always late, myself and 2 others were complaining that its half an hour after opening hours and we're not even allowed in, when I said that it's not our fault one of the staff said you shouldn't have come so early! I was stunned to I asked her to repeat this and I videoed it as well although I don't know if its legal to upload this video as I don't know how to blurr her face even though I was not hiding the fact I was recording, now I don't miss it, my new chemist opens on time like clockwork and always have my medication ready, something I can't say about this chemist, so my rating which was a solid 5 has gone down to its current rating which is generous imo.
Ladies in the pharmacy are just the nicest kindest and most helpful out of all of the chemists I’ve ever been to..have nothing but the upmost respect for them ..with the exception of the youngish male pharmacist who is incredibly rude and condescending but luckily he does evenings …one bad apple doesn’t take away what a great job they all do ..would highly recommend this chemist ♥️
