Do not go here if you are an nhs patient, the dentist treated me like a second rate patient, just because I couldn’t afford the private treatment. My most recent experience today was like being tortured. I was due to have three fillings half way through the dentist svetlana left to take personal phone call and she was gone for 15 mins… when she came back she didn’t apologise and was very heavy handed with me.. she told me I needed root canal and she refused to refer me on the nhs and was difficult about the whole thing. I left the dentist in tears and the only two people there who offered any care was a dental nurse whose name I didn’t get and a lovely receptionist called Priscilla. Priscilla was lovely and showed more care and compassion.. Svetlana is the dentist everyone fears going to. I do not recommend this dentist unless you can afford private care and then you will be treated with care. As a registered nurse I know this is not how you treat a human, and someone who is in vulnerable position.

I would like to thank Dr Shazia Jafry for providing excellent service for me I had problem with my teeth aching after being cleaned by the hygienist the kind team offered to take an appointment. I had my appointment with Dr. Shazia to look what is the issue, I was amazed with her communication skills, kindness and care. She was communicating very kindly and professionally during every step of a procedure, making sure that I'm with comfortable and relaxed with no pain at any stage. Also, she made sure that I understand what is going on with my teeth explaining everything and the options available for me to choose. I had a great experience and I highly recommand Dr. Shazia and her team incredible by all means.
Dr Shazia Jafry is an excellent dentist who has been looking after me and my family for almost a decade. The area is always clean, we are always promptly seen and she immediately settles down the younger members of my family when they are anxious or afraid.
I would avoid this dentist.
I emailed them to book an appointment (you can’t book online) and they said you had to pay upfront.
I asked them to send me the payment details but they said you had to call and give your card details over the phone.
I’m not a fan of giving my card details to a stranger over the phone and frankly didn’t think it would be a problem paying in person.
Showed up for the appointment and the receptionist said I didn’t have an appointment booked in.
She didn’t explain what the issue was and didn’t seem bothered to find out what may have caused it.
She was unfriendly and not at all helpful, completely unapologetic and didn’t even offer to book in a new appointment.
If you’re going to insist on taking full payment upfront then at least you should have a proper secure way of taking payment.
I’ve been to Chelsea Dental Lounge before. They used to have a lovely receptionist who was very helpful and I was happy with the service last time I went.
I won’t be going back. There are several good dentists around the area and I prefer to go somewhere where I get a friendly treatment and they value my custom.
The dentist was really sweet, I was well taken care of. And the nurse was very friendly too.

when it was in the kings road and when they moved I had hoped they'd gone for good! ,
well I hope that they have improved , if not why not?
back then I found one dentist in particular beyond rude and arrogant I just do not get service staff 'attitude'
it is costly to us patients as it is without the hassle of unpleasant
unprofessional staff on top of that .
have found another couple of dentists not so far away who are
both reasonable cost wise and who do a friendly dental service.
Dr. Judith Mathews is an excellent dentist. My root canal treatment was done with such efficiency and professionalism I felt completely safe and well treated. My pain is finally gone and I am glad to have had such a wonderful experience, going to the dentist is at the best of times a challenge... which was made easier by the reassuring manner of all members of staff. Highly recommended.
