Best KPortal Reviews

Lovely fish and chips here today, freshly cooked and tasty. Friendly service with a smile too. Would highly recommend. By the way can’t understand why anyone would have an issue with being asked to wear a mask, keeps everyone safe which is the main thing.
Visited some weeks ago. Delicious fish. Didn't seem too expensive to me. Returned 4th January for more but they've got the builders in so it's shut. Could be for a while but no indication. Went round the corner to Shark Fin.
It was ok .. at least it had somewhere to sit away from the gulls and the tables were clean but I my medium cod was more of a small and my hubby's large cod was more of a medium .. it was a little underwhelming
Took one look at the menu, saw the prices, laughed, and we left shortly thereafter. £11 for fish and chips, must be having a laugh. For comparison in my hometown it’s £3.50 for a huge fillet and lots of chips.
Customer service also non-existent, long haired chap with slackjaw slammed the menus on our table. Er, ok. Sorry for giving you business, surprised there is any with their daylight robbery prices
Okay place, friendly staff. I had small piece of cod, wife had scampi. Comes with chips but no salad or peas or beans or tomatoes or bread and butter. Food wasnt anything special with 2 pots of tea come to nearly £30! Too expensive for a cafe.
DEDICATED TO SERVING A MASSIVE QUEUE OF PEOPLE AND STAYED WELL BEYOND CLOSING TIME.
The fish and chips were delicious, probably one of the best I've had. Staff were great and we were very appreciative that they stayed open to serve everyone as the rest of the town had many closed restaurants due to covid.
We visited for takeaway at a very busy time so had to queue for about 20 minutes. But we had a good result in the end , with very good fish & chips at a reasonable price. Because it was so busy, the fish & chips was coming up hot and fresh, good portion size, crisp batter, nice chips.
Very over priced, the food was underwhelming. We had a cooked breakfast, £1.50 extra for a tiny additional portion of mushrooms. Egg was solid toast burnt and the table was sticky and grimy. We won't be returning
