This was an overcrowded Easter dining experience. Service was really pathetic although there appeared to be enough staff. From sitting down it took over 30 mins to get a drink. It took a further 30 mins before the first course arrived. To be fair the food was good but service let it down. I had to ask 3 different servers for a menu. When the drinks arrived they were wrong.
Placed drinks order of a bottle of wine . When I lifted my glass it was dirty and asked for a clean glass and was met with a glare and it was oblivious she spoke to the other staff member about it and they both glared at me.Sorry don’t expect to drink out of dirty glasses Food arrived luke warm and the cauliflower cheese was oblivious made with Margarine disgusting the chocolate sponge tasted like burnt chocolate . Needless to say we will not be back.
Excellent Sunday Roast Dinner! Food was amazing, service was friendly and welcoming, and their Lemon Vienetta is beyond words! Thank you for a delightful meal and can't wait to visit again in October when we are back!
Love the variations on the menu and are good if you fancy chips when it maybe suggested served with rice or served with mash or boiled potatoes so abbliging so far we've only been on the Mondays but should try other days fantastic
Recent visit for the steak combo deal on a Saturday. We have been before and always impressed with the quality and quantity of the food. It's all cooked fresh and presented well. It's a jewel of a place and deserves the 5 star rating. We will be back and would recommend to others without hesitation.
It's a shame they don't accept cards. In this day and age unacceptable.

Had fish and chips here. Rest of the menu looks great. Food was excellent. Service was excellent.
