We came in here one night in September, turned out to be quiz night.
Made very welcome (despite being a 'sweaty' and a 'septic'), and got paired up with a local for the quiz.
Quizmaster was a riot, and all the locals could not have been more welcoming. Was a brilliant night.
Given free bar snacks, and won a prize in the draw - an unpopular win, given that my own wife drew my ticket out that hat... but I made it out in one piece anyway!
The staff were due to sell up a few days after we were in, and I hope the new owners/management change nothing.
Great, classic British, locals pub. Something that's lacking in so many places now.
Great for watching sport. Pool table out the back & Hands down, the best pint of Guinness in tring!
Friendliest pub I have ever been to, would highly recommend. Staff were great with my 2 year old son. Seats in the sun overlooking the park, and amazing staff. Only disappointed we couldnt go back. Looking forward to the amazing looking cafe opening soon too!
Great pub again now it has new landlords. The management team are great behind the bar. Sky sports is back on as well. This is a proper traditional pub.
Cute and homely pub with the loveliest dog you'll ever meet. Go here if you want to meet some interesting characters and a cute canine :) Removed a star as my pint was sour but this was dealt with and the barrel changed.
New owner, feels like a proper local pub again now much friendlier and better choice of beers.
Nice cozy pub with some nice outdoor seating for th e sunny days. View towards Tring park. Cash only, nice beer options and good prices. Service is friendly and it feels like one of those places where everyone knows each other. Will definitely go back soon!
