We had a late lunch there a few weeks ago. We were served the best hotdogs ever! No way near an American hotdog, everything from the roll to the topping and the hotdog itself, which was more like a delicious sausage. Very enjoyable!
The card machine was down and so we had to go in to the shop to order our meals. There wasn't too long a wait when it was ready and we went to collect it from the shepherd's hut outside the seating area.
Food selection was fine, but could have done with some sandwich options or some plain choice in food for children. We had soup which was very good, but quite small.
We also had a couple of cakes later in the afternoon. The coconut sponge was outstanding! Super light, moist and very tasty.
Not extensive menu but whatever on the menu for the day is delicious. Had pulled pork with coleslaw & beans. Broccoli with fritata was sumptuous & so was the hotdog. Scones with clotted cream, butter & jam was mouth watering. Nice place for a stopover after visit to the castle.
Great coffee and an incredible drive up to the Pavillion cafe through the Castle grounds.
Didn't have food. We had coffee. Outside we were there about thirty minutes. Lot's of dogs about too.Service was excellent so was the coffee. We will return.
4th January states open on Google. Fully shut down !
Delicious coffee, free car park, hot food served from 12:00 - 15:00. Great atmosphere ????????
Decent enough but too hot and windows had not been opened.
