I've been going to Cartech for over a year now such a friendly bunch providing reliable services, at great prices. Definitely recommend!
Car went in to Cartech for an MOT and service. I was kept informed of prices for the repairs. After issues with other garages, it was good to get a professional trustworthy and efficient service, at reasonable cost.Great job, happy customer.
I've used Cartech a couple of times now, i really wanted to share my latest experience, back on Monday (22nd April) my car was booked in as the engine management light came on, they put it on the diagnostic but unfortunately there was so many faults they couldn't determine what it was, Mas was who I spoke to, he thinks a lot were old faults previous garages didn't clear but one fault reappeared, the thermostat sensor, so this was changed, unfortunately the wrong part was sent so another was ordered which meant they had it another day, the mechanics road tested it many times but no other problems appeared, so I was handed it back the following day (Tuesday 23rd), unfortunately the following day (Wednesday 24th) the symptom reappeared and the engine manegment light came on, in fact the car was so awful by loosing power and sluggish I decided to return the car with the fault there so that Cartech could see it happening, Mas brought the car in to be inspected there and then, putting it again on a diagnostic, after a while Mas returned, the fault was a misfire in cylinder 1, explains everything, was going to be booked in for a later date, but I needed to drive to Portsmouth for something very important, i had to go to and my only means of transport was driving, Mas explained I couldn't drive this car like it is, I explained I had to, so Mas decided to have it in that day, he said use the car to go to work, once you have finished work (this was just after lunch) come back and leave it with us to fix, the part would of arrived then, so on my way home from work the car was very bad and nearly broke down on one occasion, driving it to Cartech with my hazards on!!!
I just wanted to say how utterly delighted with this service, I dont think I would of got this much help in any other garage, they certainly wouldn't of fixed it quite so efficiently, Mas contacted me to explained to me what was happening and informed me when the car was ready to be collected, cost wise wasn't any different to anywhere else, one particular garage i used to use would of cost me more no doubt, I'm not bothered about cost obviously I don't want to pay more than I need to but it seemed reasonable, unfortunately I get fobbed off quite a bit so I get fed up and leave, hopefully this won't happen here, they seem to care about customers and want to provide a good service.
No doubt I'll be returning and have no hesitation in doing so.
Cartech was recommended to us and I'm glad we took our car there.
The staff are easy to talk to and give clear explanations and answers without being condescending.
I believe the work is good and reasonably priced.
This makes it a good garage for us women and elderly people.

Took my van in as was very stiff changing gears, also “check emissions” light on came on and needed investigating. Was told I needed a new clutch (£1200) and that my DPF blocked. I asked the receptionist to pass on a message to say jist give it a regen (no clean) as I was going to sell the van (almost 200k on clock so not worth the repairs). Went to collect and was charged £280 for a DPF clean I didn’t ask for.
My main concern is that since taking the van back, I drove 4 hours up North in it. Did breakdown on the way back yes, as gears seemed completely seized. AA turned up, sprayed half a can of WD40 down the inside of my gear stick and down the cables. My clutch is absolutely fine and my gears are as smooth as anything. To think I was about to scrap my van! Wouldn’t go back here. Dishonest!!!
Just had my car MOT done here. Excellent customer service from start to finish. Very impressed and will be using them going forwards!

Been using the guys at Cartech for a few years now, maz & his team are friendly & work completed is always done well & promptly. Have had a couple of emergency repairs required & the team have ensured my car gets sorted quickly. Reasonably priced too...would recommend
