Warming soup for winter's day, tasty burgers with a choice of toppings, sandwiches and toasties, breakfasts also all available with locally sourced ingredients. See photos of amazing munch boxes!
Excellent tea shop/cafe/shop on the main street through the village. Plenty of inside seating with more in the garden, it was lovely to sit out there on a sunny day, though those are probably fairly rare in this part of the world.
Staff were friendly, helpful and informative. Service was very prompt and all of the home cooked food was delicious, with huge portions and at very reasonable prices.
Definitely 100% recommended for breakfast, lunch or tea, if you are in the area.
Great little find on the main road. Very friendly staff. Good menu for lunches and snacks. Excellent salads. Very generous and good value.
What a fabulous find, would recommend stopping fabulous food at amazing prices.
My homemade Carrot and Coriander soup arrived piping hot and was delicious. Sandwich was amazing came with salad crisp and coleslaw. Coffee was very tasty. We will be back to try a breakfast. And I'm sure we won't be disappointed. ???? ☕☕????????
Really enjoyed my cheese burger with haggis! Lovely little place to refuel your belly.
We stopped here for a late morning coffee and brunch on our way from Dumfries to Argyll. We sat outside with our dog enjoying glorious views, then when the rain arrived we were invited to make shelter in a purpose built shed where we could still see the mountains. So although we weren't able to go inside the cafe with our dog we felt well looked after.
Nice café/shop with seating, good Scottish breakfast (although it could do with a better haggis). Great, friendly service and reasonable prices.
We stopped for lunch, thinking we would have to sit outside as we knew dogs weren't allowed in the cafe but we were taken round to the garden "dog house". It's a purpose built shed for dog owners to sit and eat, while sheltered from the elements, with your dog. It was very welcome because it was a breezy day. Toasties were lovely.
