Many thanks to Carl who came out this morning to change my spark plugs & diagnos a fault with one of my HT leads. As a good will gesture he used his diagnostic machine to clear my engine management light which was showing up on my dash board. Great service would highly recommend him to anyone. Will certainly be using Carl again ????
Great service. I called Carl this morning when my warning light came on and he told me to come straight down for new pads. Honest, genuine, straight up guy who replaced my brake pads. Carl is old school and offers a genuine honest service. I'm in London for work all the time and I will be taking my car back for a service in a few weeks. I ever even looked at the reviews until after the work was done but I can't recommend this guy enough. GREAT SERVICE. Thanks for the quick turn around.
We was looking for a mobile man that would do some work on my motorhome. And Carl didn't disappoint us. What a nice man. Friendly and a fair price for all the hard work he done. We will definitely be asking him to do more work when need. Thank you
My car is a lot happier today. I contacted Carl He replied quickly. I dropped off the car and he had diagnosed and fixed the problem in a couple of hours. I dropped the car on Sunday for him to complete the work on Monday but he just got the job done. I’m happy to recommend.
It's hard to find an honest mechanic. You always think you're being hustled in some way. Not with Carl. My suspension was squeaking when I went over speed humps so I wanted someone to check it out. Funnily enough, once he had checked it, the squeaking stopped. He also checked the basics under the bonnet and gave me a quick run through of the areas I need to check frequently. He even spotted a potential issue with the water pump (water was leaking out of the side of the engine and now that it's been raised to me, I've noticed that the coolant level goes from the max level to min level in two weeks or so). I'll be going to him to get the water pump replaced.
I was having a problem with my car after it's service and MOT. Most of the time, it wouldn't start and when it did all these warnings would come up and the dashboard had lots of symbols lit up.
I had been to 4 different garages and no one could fix the problem.
Finally, I got in touch with Carl and even though he was not working that day due to bereavement leave he took a look at my car.
Turns out the garage who did my service had disconnected the battery incorrectly and it had caused a problem with the BSI.
Carl went through the steps carefully to reset the BSI + battery and did some tests to make sure the problem was solved.
My car has been no problem since and is working good as new!
