Fabulous cafe in a renovated railway carriage. Situated looking out over fields on an unused old railway line now a walking path. Just great.
Lovely little find half way along our walk . Lovely cup of tea can cake and staff very lovely even the dog got a biscuit
It's a little Gem of a place the owner and staff are brilliant top marks to them.
Old 1950's railway carriage converted into a little cafe, but with an updated interior, proper seats and a log burner for the winter ????
Great place for a break when cycling along the Stratford Greenway. Several picnic benches if you have brought your own refreshments or there's the railway carriage cafe there. It was all very clean and tidy with surfaces good to cycle on.
Really friendly staff. They were about to close when we turned up at 3pm, so we ended up just getting a takeaway hot drink. They said they closed at 3:30pm but not sure it that's just a winter months thing or their new closing time.
The surrounding area is beautiful with plenty of outdoor seating and it's located on a main walking/cycling route.
The car park is small and across a main road but it's free. Just take care crossing as some people speed.
Great food. They warm the mugs up. Great service.
