Stopped in by here with the other half for a quick lunch. The staff were absolutely wonderful and clearly knew many of the regulars. Our sandwiches were lovely and the cakes were to die for. The decor is maritime themed and you can glimpse the sea down the lane from the cafe. We could easily have stayed longer if we weren't on our travels. I definitely recommend this place and I have a sneaky suspicion we'll be back next time we're up this way.
Went on my own to have a quiet cup of tea, ended up with a scone as everything looked delicious! It was beautiful! Came with proper clotted cream and jam. Was very fresh and the fruit inside was tasty too. Was very well priced and welcoming, so much so I took the family back to have ice cream. Four good flavours, each equally yummy! Donna who served me both times let us have a little try. Walked out with three huge ice creams for a very fair price indeed. Very grateful to have found this place and can’t wait to visit again!
Very friendly staff and great food.
(They have a massive selection of amazing cakes)
Definitely would recommend.
Absolutely delicious homemade cakes at this cute, clean and friendly cafe. A proper generous pot of tea for two and if you are sitting outside you get a lovely view too ????
Fab service and food. Bacon Roll is a must, followed by the scrambled egg. Scones and cakes delicious too. Great range of choice.
We could not have been made more welcome by the lovely staff member who greeted and served us. The coffee and cake were delicious, in a great setting with lovely views. Thanks so much!
Popped in on my walk, and what a friendly and pleasant welcome. Had a cup of tea and the most fantastic bowl of homemade tomato and basil soup with a hunk of lovely bread. Really lovely place :-).
The service was very slow, but the boy did
apologised. We had very good fish and chips off the retirement menu as I am 65 and wife is 62, but was Changed the full price. When I asked about the retirement price the girl just laugh
