Love this restaurant, haven't visited for some years. Its just has I remembered, excellent food and great service. Highly reccomend
Overall, a great but disappointing experience.
Starting with the pros;
The customer service was excellent. I had heard great things about this and they lived up to expectations.
The atmosphere was pleasant and very welcoming.
The drink range was great and reasonably priced.
MOST of the food was excellent quality, however, this leads to my one major con.
The steak I ordered. I opted for the 19oz T-Bone as it was the days special at just under £30. All the accompaniments were great, onion rings were crisp as were the fries, the gorgonzola sauce was delicious but the steak.
I asked for Medium Rare as is my preference, and it was medium rare but it was not well cooked. The meat was still quite chewy, definitely not tender and generally underwhelming.
I'll rule it as probably a bad steak or bad timing, and even with that disappointment, I will return there in the future as everything else was Top-notch.
If you expect to get authentic Italian dinner experience, this place is not for you. Poor food quality, cheap ingredients and, unfortunately, not Italian at all.
When Papa Carlos was in charge of this place, the restaurant, at least used proper Italian ingredients... The new management has a big room for improvement, as they have a very little knowledge what Italian cooking is mainly about.
My first visit was about T-bone steak, unfortunately wasnt that good, sadly, left of half of meal undone. Second time was much better with Mafioza pizza, which was awesome. Today was third and best time I visited that place. Tuesday perfect timing when not much peoples. This fillet steak is probably the best you could get around the place. Juicy as it should, medium well been cooked as it should.
Interior is superb, while you'll wait for your meal you'll feel that italian vibe as you seen from picture I added. Guy which was served me confirmed he is from Italy, where reflects on his accent! Back again for it! Best compliments for chief which made this awesome steak!

This is the second time at this resteraunt which we thoroughly enjoyed the 1st experience. Unfortunatly the waitress service was absolutely useless. It was my daughters birthday and after speaking with the waitress about having a cake for her it appeared she had forgotten to bring the cake back out to us with the candles lit 25 mins later of which I had to prompt her. After finishing our meal and wishing our daughter a happy birthday we waited a further 15 mins to pay the bill at which we went to the bar to pay it. On a plus point the food was outstanding just the fact of waiter and waitress problems not being tentative to their customers.
Called in for early supper on Sunday 17th Dec… terrible, basic, not authentic whatsoever.
Starter of gamberoni picante resembled more of a ratatouille , terrible, main course of calzone with bolognaise sauce , again, ratatouille sauce, and calzone heavily loaded with cheese, main course mixed seafood pasta, nothing more than prawns and more ratatouille sauce…
Waitress never questioned why so much food was left… I wonder why…
Enjoyed our meals. Starters were great, main course for me was a little poor (the steak tagliatelle), it felt a bit cheap. That said, friendly staff and well priced. Perfect little Friday night treat.
Went for a family meal on Wednesday an have to say it was not very nice ordered the salmon tagliatelle and half way through I ended up with stomach cramps ... needless to say I ended up on the toilet immediately. Food was awful husbands steak was awful... for the price you pay I didn't expect to get frozen onion rings from a bag . Very loud atmosphere didn't enjoy ourselves one bit what a waste of 100 pound . Won't be returning here again
