I bought online from amazon a keyring that broked after a few days. I asked to the seller to have another keyring or get refounded but car mod shop tell me that the others that it has selled never broked (what does it means?) and that could be normal that taking off the keyring from a pocketcould broke it. Don't trust this seller.
Fantastic service and great quality products
Bought a reverse parking sensor kit online on EBay and had it professionally installed. The item was of poor quality and the front sensors were firing randomly, even when not near any obstacles. Had to have fitter back at extra cost to rewire so that front sensors could be switched off. Customer service at car mod shop (Steve) was very unhelpful and said the kit had probably been fitted at the wrong height (???!!!). The kit was fitted professionally. The fitter said he would never himself supply such a poor quality part, so I've learnt my lesson. Let the fitter supply the part too, otherwise you can have problems. Car mod shop NOT recommended- no customer service!
Called as unsure if the DRL lights would fit my sons car. The staff were really helpful, confirmed the part would fit and arranged for next day delivery. The whole experience was professional and swift. We fitted the lights this morning and all works. Thank you!!

Got high beams from shop James and the guys were a great help and answered all my questions before buying.
Would recommend their company to anybody looking Led lights.
Good business. I had to return my item as it wasn't suitable but they provided quality service and were easy to deal with.
Bought some headlights for my BMW a couple of weeks ago.
When they arrived they looked in pretty good condition. I then organised them to be installed which cost me around £100. When i got home I realised the DRL lights weren't working and they flickered upon engine start up, i was told this was a false lens on the headlight which wasnt supposed to work but this wasn't the case.
I also realised that there was a fault when i tried to manually change the vertical level of the headlights. the fault showed as "vertical aim failure" so i cant change the vertical level of my headlight.
When I've informed CAR MODS they said that it doesn't matter if the DRL's aren't working which in my opinion if you are spending a lot of money on headlights you expect them to be fully operational and they are only plug and play so no technical knowledge required to wire them up manually etc. and they say they will find out a solution from manufacturer why the vertical aim isn't working, the solution will likely be that i have to pay someone to fix them.
At the end of all this i was told to return them so i will now have to spend another £100 to have them taken off through no fault of my own and return to the supplier which i will not be refunded for.
i will now be £200.00 down and have to return my headlights only to buy some more (from somewhere else) and have them fitted again.
