(Update) Won't go back again. Small MOT charged over £300. (7 months ago) Since my relatives who use this garage 15+ years recommended me as a new driver to this garage just over 2 years ago I haven't looked back. I now go to him for everything as he's got the patience of a saint, the best efficiency and his prices reflect my low waged affordability. Will keep using and recommending others to ????????????????
I have used the MOT station and the garage for over 15 years and can highly recommend them. I take my car there for yearly MOT, and for any repairs (small and big) I have needed on 3 different cars over time, the prices are fair, the owner Chris is very helpful and explain everything you need to know, the invoice is broken down really clearly too. I would hope all garages have these standards. It's to easy too and the place is tidy. In 2 words "highly recommended" !!
Chris and David are top lads, very honest and they know their stuffs from A-Z. I'm extremely satisfied of their high quality job. It may just be a small garage but it's the result that matters and their works are unparalleled, I'll put them as the best garage in Manchester. Well done lads!

Me and my partner have been going here for years, initially we went because it's our local place, but we will carry on going to these guys as long as they're in business. They are good, honest, and extremely knowledgeable. You won't find anyone here doing botch fixes, just good honest mechanics, a real goldmine.
I have personal dealt with this MOT AND Chris for more then 13 years. I have always had great service and helpful advice when I needed it. I trust him to give me a good price. My family has gone there for years. I would rate him higher 10/10 if I could.
Booked in for an mot. Nice little garage, clean,good location.But.. 1. They failed my car due to a head light level sensor which is not a fail, he mis-took it for suspension yaw adjustment, I did mention previous mot spotted this and it was not a fail. Luckily I asked "so how much would this be to fix", so they kindly called for a quote and was informed over the phone of what the sensor is and that it is not a fail, in which he reprinted a new mot.
2. They kept me waiting after I came to pick my car up as they did the mot under my old reg plate, even though I gave them my new reg over the phone and it was on the car also,so they said come back in 30 min even though it was their mistake.
3. Seems they are too eager to fail cars on mot, whether they are trying to be strict and keep to the rules or lack of knowledge.
Good things, price was reasonable, I believe with more experience they have potential. Will use them again , but only as I have good knowledge of my vehicle. Also could be more friendly, I hope you take this all on board, as I can see potential.
Was not expecting such an awesome service. Went with a car for MOT wife dropped me off. MOT garage noticed her car was pulling to the side. he inspected car and made my wife and children safe on the road. We could have had a serious accident but the mechanic was excellent!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
