Can’t say I was too impressed, said on the menu that my duck and mushrooms was supposed to be cooked in a BBq sauce, unfortunately it wasn’t. Very bland tasting. Chips were good though.
Fish terrible batter soft fish bony think you would get better quality fish especially when paying £7.30 for a supper
Excellent all round, great food, good size portions.
Out on a chippie run with some friends and ended up here tonight. Fish supper for me and sausage supper for the wife. Very tasty, quick service too, and the lady that served us was super friendly. We'll be back for sure.
I recently visited this Chinese restaurant and was extremely disappointed with the experience. The food was bland and uninspired, and the service was rude and inattentive.
When we arrived, we were seated at a dirty table with crumbs and spills still present from the previous customers. Our server took our order without even making eye contact or asking if we had any questions about the menu.
When the food arrived, it was cold and underseasoned. The dishes were clearly not made with fresh ingredients and tasted like they had been sitting out for a long time. The portions were small and overpriced for the quality of the food.
To make matters worse, the server never checked on us to see if we needed anything or if the food was satisfactory. When we asked for the bill, we were met with a condescending attitude and felt rushed to leave.
Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. The food and service were subpar and not worth the money. There are plenty of other Chinese restaurants in the area that offer a better dining experience.

Chippy chips. (which are not the best with Chinese food but I suppose that's subjective)
Chips can be hit or miss when they're rushed and busy. Laziness and pressure from customers results in soggy undercooked mushy tato's.
Biggest gripe here though is the price (ever increasing) and they ignore the customers in shop in favour of answering the phone which is very frustrating. Seemingly no order to how and who is served first. Often there are long wait times while multiple new customers come and go.
Also the £15 minimum card payment requirement is not only silly, it's unlawful... ????
All a bit hyper in here at busy times but the main dude seems to know what's going on. "OK" :)

Doctor just called to confirm I have Campylobacter (food poisoning from raw poultry). I have been sick for over 10 days now. The stomach pain and cramps have been unreal. Excreting blood for days. Food was not good. Also £15 minimum for card payments? Tax dodging much? Even the attitude during service was awful. Be warned! Stay away!
Best to order ahead or expect a wait inside the shop. Both the Chinese and chip shop sides of the shop produce good food at a reasonable price. Please note its cash for anything under £15 and card accepted to the value above.
