Just had the worst food delivered from here, to be fair we have had many good meals but this was inedible. When I rang to complain I was told I was the only one and the kitchen needed the food back which is now in my food recycling bin! It was all well overcooked and dried out. Couldn’t even bite the satay chicken it was so tough and the chips looked like they had been cooked 5 times over! Crispy duck was cremated duck.
What has happened to this place?
Special chowmein was extremely poor to say the least,some of the meat content was unidentifiable, slimey, and unedible.£18 Wasted.
We are regular visitors to this particular takeaway, and have always been extremely pleased with the quality, quantity and services provided.
Establishment has been fully covid compliant during our visits.
Parking can be a bit tricky, however if you shop at the neighboring ALDI, picking up takeaway afterwards, parking is a lot easier.
Disapointed - Missed off delivery item and then young lad on front desk was argumentative and rude about it. Won't be ordering again.
So I have now found Manderin house on heol Llanishen school. I have had lovely food from here since I stopped using canton chop suey. I would recommend manderin House heol Llanishen fach to anyone food was 10 stars compared with canton.
Awful service, didn’t receive full order. Called 28 times and no response, then had to go down to request rest of order. Was called a liar and refused to be given full order. Very poor customer service with man shouting across constantly
First time ordering from here and probably the last time. Ordered the crispy shredded beef and it tasted burnt not nice at all, no taste of beef. Chicken chow mein and vegetable chow mein was tasteless and bland, sweet and sour chicken was ok, beef fried rice was nice and the vegetable spring rolls where nice to, although the prawn crackers tasted old. All in all the lack of flavour and taste was missing from this Chinese restaurant. Meal size and price is very good.
Got my sons order wrong, food was lukewarm, curry had to be spooned out of the carton, sweet and sour sauce was like treacle and to to top it off Ispent the early hours of the morning being sick and the rest of the day with diarrhea. I was the only one to have the prawns in batter, others had the sweet and sour chicken balls, it was my only meal that day so this has to be the reason.
Food was terrible, owner didn't care less when we phoned and complained and told him to be aware that his prawns may be suspect. All in all would never recommend this take away to anyone and certainly won't be using them again.
Two of us went together to place separate orders. I placed mine, then as my mate was going to order his, The lady pick up the Phone to get the order and it took her nearly 46 days to finish the phone conversation. In the meantime i received my order, been waiting for my mate to serve for another year... Obviously my food was dead cold by the time he received his, so not so happy.if i knew, I would sell my car, organise better my dogs funeral, and possibly still had a time to go barbers.. In case of taste - we both got beef in black bean sauce with extra red chilli. There was some beef but more like a onion in black bean sauce, plus i dont think i could taste any beans. It could be down to the fact, that i had 24kg of onions in my box, or maybe i was focused to find some beef. Only budda knows..
