Wow I don"t know how I was unaware of this gem. I only live a few miles away! I do know I will be visiting regularly. Such a chill welcoming place with fabulous home made food. The cakes I left with were devoured immediately after my short journey home. Thanks for making me so welcome.

Fab little stop for breakfast. Dinky and cute, lots of choice. Sweet treats look amazing. We had a full breakfast, it was huge, 2 of everything, and all tasted delicious ???? the staff are very friendly too. I have saved location on Google, so I will definitely be back. Oh, and they are dog friendly too.

Great eatery just off the A1. Lovely staff and the best sausage sandwich ever. The food is fresh cooked and prepared and there is also plenty of it. Reasonably priced, good range of choices. Dog friendly and free coffee top ups too. Definitely worth making a special trip to this place.

Hubby found this little gem, which is not far from where we live, lovely rural little cafe, delicious home cooked meals & the best cakes ever. Its Hilary & the staff who make the place special as it feels like a family warm welcome. Our little dog is always welcomed too & given treats. Thankyou xx

Cute little cafe tucked away off the A1. We were driving home to Harrogate after the holiday weekend and wanted a bite to eat that wasn't Burger King or Subway. I just happened to discover this place from my Google map. I had the ham and cheese panini and my husband had a tuna sandwich. Delicious! And the cakes looked amazing! Thank you to the lovely ladies that run this gem of a cafe! :-)

Absolutely fabulous vintage style cafe! Great home made cakes and huge home made sausage rolls! Great views, dog friendly. Cherry staff, just off the A1, perfect!

Stopped off here for breakfast en-route to Northumberland zoo. Staff were good craic and friendly. Full English was tasty, and we ended up staying a couple of hours and having cake too. Nice, relaxed atmosphere would definitely recommend!

Food was absolutely amazing. The staff are absolutely lovely and constantly topping up teas and coffees and bringing the next course of afternoon tea. The photos do not include the cake that we had to take home as we were so full. Little extra to buy like the autumn bobbler! Also, £13 for sandwiches: beef and mustard, ham and pease pudding, salmon and cream cheese. Then, cheese scones, quiche, sausage roll. Followed by clotted cream and jam scones, fruit meringue... then a cake to eat-in or take home as we had to do. We will be back and fully recommend it!
