Brilliant site, clean and good for kids who enjoy the outdoor pool.
Pub on site is big, serves burgers and pizzas, very good portions.
Has a separate place to play pool and table tennis.
Well stocked shop with camping essentials and food
Good for walks and shopping in Ashbourne.
Security check the site regularly.
May not suit those without kids. I have a 11 yr old and this is her favourite place and I think I would be happy here when she has flown the nest.
Took my sister and brother-in-law here who are well travelled and they were surprised at how much they enjoyed it.
Great food and brilliant service from the young team. Keeping the menu small has made the food good quality and almost instant service. Reasonable prices too for both food and drinks. Added bonus you can take dogs in too.
Burgers were amazing and came quickly
We went Callow inn,as we were on the campsite,nice pub with seating inside and out ,food basic burgers and pizzas, also takeaway good beers carling,Guinness, etc, plenty of staff only gripe was its closed Sunday, with still plenty of campers on site,
Our burger and chips was about £10 each which is really good value and it was good food.The beers not cheap but this onsite pub does the job and we'd use it every time! ????
It's great that you do gluten free. Only negative is would have liked more of a choice, rather than just burgers and pizza.
Great site nice little pub decent food just a shame there, is not a bigger menu but I understand with how busy it can get staff are very welcoming ????
