Used him to do my brake discs, finished half a day to meet him and he canceled, had to wait till the next morning! The brake discs got done and was happy with it. Moving forward I thought I’d give him a second chance and use him again as van hasn’t been starting.. come to job told me van had no issues but could do with engine and transmission service. Been waiting over a week for a quote and a text back.. nothing.. will not be using his service again. Not reliable or punctual in the slightest which is a shame as seems like a alright bloke

Only just got around to reviewing. Tried to call multiple times and left messages with contact details and texts a few months ago and nothing.. pretty shocking since I basically walk past the van every day.. I understand people are busy but that to me is just rude never again
Called Chris today and he came out to me the same day! Car has been making a strange noise and Chris sorted it right out. Very knowledgeable, friendly and fixed at such a reasonable price too! Would highly recommend Chris!

I called him about my brakes making a noise. He visited later the same day, checked everything, cleaned them up and confirmed all was OK. Very reassuring and a very reasonable call out fee for his time. Such a friendly guy too. He could have told me I needed new pads/discs or whatever and I wouldnt have known any better. I recommend using Call The Mechanic!
These guys are absolutely spot on. Car caused me problems on a Wednesday night and by Thursday afternoon it was back to its usual self thanks to Chris and his team. Had alternator belt replaced as well as the crankshaft pulley as this had failed in the process. Communication was excellent, kept in the loop constantly about what the car needed and parts were sourced and fitted quickly. Price for parts and labour was very reasonable. I will be using their services on-going as and when needed. Thank you for 5 star service.
