"Café Oro" on Smithdown Road, opposite Arundel Ave!!!
Quite honestly, the best café around here outside of Lark Lane!!
Food is excellent, prices actually surprised me for such good food & wine!!!! service is great, staff very welcoming and couldn't be more friendly, there's a great selection of teas, coffee ☕️ wines ???? & beers, with a really nice and really comfortable atmosphere!!!
What's more, there is no rush, no pressure to leave as with some places, just laid back & relaxing!!
Easy access for disabled, elderly and families etc.....
"Very Highly Recommended"!!!
The large capuccino was too milky, so for the next visit will ask for an extra shot of coffee. Good presentation, cozy athmosphere, friendly and efficient staff. Worn out table. The toilet was a bit messy.
Lovely local cafe on Smithdown. I have been here many times but they never let me down and food is amazing! Both inside and outside have nice atmosphere. Highly recommend to anyone.
Popped in for a breakfast as had some time to kill I opted for the vegetarian breakfast really enjoyed it never had a breakfast with carrot on the menu but was a nice suprise
Always very busy the first time we got a table had to sit outside in the cold (not their fault obviously but when tables cleared up inside we weren’t asked if we wanted to move inside even though it was raining). Food took a while to arrive but was okay flavourwise apart from the fact I had ordered an extra hash brown which they forgot and then brought out and it was still frozen in the middle. We were in a rush at this point so didn’t make a fuss but staff weren’t too attentive anyway so didn’t notice. Unfortunate as I feel it could’ve been much better.
A cozy and friendly café in one of my favourites neighborhoods of Liverpool. The food is delicious, you can feel the love. Best Florentine eggs I've ever had in my life. The staff is lovely, especially Mariana. Don't hesitate and visit this small local business, you won't regret it.
I have travelled to many places and had veggie breakfasts wherever I go and I can quite honestly say that the veggie breakfast at Oro on Smithdown road is one of the worst I have been presented with. Reasons why; Small portion of cold beans, small portion of cold mushrooms, the tomato was so unripe I couldn't get my knife through it, the strange addition of griddled carrot was not pleasant and the avocado was tasteless, and nothing on my plate was hot. So sadly I can't recommend Oro's veggie breakfast, which is a shame because I came here a few years back and the breakfast was exceptional.
Great food, great service, and great atmosphere! The staff was friendly, and it was a very great place to stop for lunch!
