Such a shame have visited this cafe so many times and always been made to feel welcome. Visited this morning and it was like a different place. I’m wondering if it’s changed owners. Not very busy on a Monday morning, stood and waited close to 10 minutes to order a drink. The lady serving didn’t acknowledge anybody was waiting just carried on doing what she was doing. I was just about to leave when the lady looked up to take my order but wasn’t particularly friendly it felt like a bit of an inconvenience that I was ordering a coffee and paying for it. Shame the coffee was great but I won’t be rushing back.
Thank you for taking the time to respond to my review. This was not misinformation but an honest review of my experience in your cafe today. At our last visit the service was poor and we were given the wrong drinks after a long wait. The drinks were eventually very reluctantly exchanged. However we still returned as previous visits had always been good. I have been here many times before and unfortunately today the experience was not good. Please remember that when you are claiming that customers are dissing your business. it is customers like me that spend their hard earn money that keep you in business!
Very pleasant little cafe in a lovely situation. The staff were lovely too, and very helpful. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. I will certainly go back. Oh, and its doggie friendly, always a bonus.
cafe decor could be warmer as it felt cold , staff very friendly. We had the super 7 breakfast it was ok warm and warm coffee
A great little cafe with warm friendly staff that serves yummy food and good coffee. Me an my daughter had Bakewell slice it was that tasty only left a few crumbs for you to view on photo. They even let dogs in.
This is a lovely cafe. The staff are very friendly, acknowledged you when you came in.
The coffee is okay. We had plum crumble and lemon drizzle cake, both delicious.
The sandwiches and jacket potatoes looked very nice.
Amazing food, we had breakfast and the bread was lovely. Friendly staff and felt very cozy. Also use their BnB apartment for the weekend and it was lovely, lovely design and cosy and has everything you need.
Stopped on two consecutive days for coffees....the coffee is decent, not outstanding. Staff friendly, cafe was busy both times. Not sure how often the tables are cleaned, on both occasions they were grimy and sticky.
Lovely café, really nice staff and great coffee and flapjack. Strongly recommend.
