Came in for breakfast Tuesdays morning with my friend, the lady who served us was lovely. the food came swiftly after we ordered .The food was good and it's very reasonably priced. will be returning soon.
Visited Saturday mid morning. We ordered American pancakes with bacon, eggs Benedict and a muffin with butter. We couldn't fault the lady that served us, she's always very friendly and polite. But the food took over 40 minutes to arrive which we thought was a little bit too long. The pancakes were simply awful, with only two bacon rashers. It was really disappointing. On top of that there were quite a lot of dogs inside the cafe. Whilst we don't mind dogs, when they are barking and jumping on the tables, it makes the whole visit less pleasant. We used to like visiting this cafe but sadly feel it's gone downhill.
A nice cafe but hit and miss, it's fair to say. Popped in on Saturday with limited time ans lucky to fi d a seat. Nice atmosphere and food looked good. We went to counter as short on time and asked for 2 double espressos as we knew that would be speedy. Sat and waited nearly 15 mins and sadly knew we'd need to leave. Went to counter to ask to have as takeaway and find the order was never properly placed in the first place. Never came over to ask and no apology which was disappointing. We will try again as there were many satisfied looking faces inside. Sadly we left thirsty.
I had eggs benedict this time. I cant lie that was an amazing breakfast i scoffed it right down.
Previously had regular breakfast, good runny eggs (a must for me) flavour some bacon and sausages. I did request no mushrooms and tomatoes.
If I had to push for a negative this time on this update I would only say there was lipstick on my teacup :-/
Always pop in here if we're in the area,
The coffee is always spot on and always hot and not Luke warm like a lot of other outlets. The staff are always very polite and helpful.
The staff did not make any attempt at being friendly and just put the food down on the table anywhere, rather than actually in-front of the person it was intended for, like they couldn’t care less. Honestly they all seemed super grumpy and it was uncomfortable. The food was terrible, the halloumi was the worst salad I’ve ever had, deep fried halloumi and shredded lettuce with a few bits of cucumber and tomato, my friend and I were so surprised they’d get away with serving that. Super basic and bland. Maybe we chose poorly but regardless will not be returning.
Had a pleasant coffee here today. Fair price and fresh tasting. Comfortable atmosphere. Will return.
Decided to go and have a family breakfast. The staff were like high school kids, only talking if they know you and making no effort.
My drink had a hair in it and when returned I just got stared down by the staff.
We even had to ask for the table to be cleaned as it was sticky and horrible.
Honestly, food was nice, shame the rest of the experience was ruined.
(One member of staff whose name I didn’t catch was a delight! Happily changed my drink for me with no issues)
