How have I never been in here before?! A delightful spot for brunch a quick coffee or a chat in the window with friends ????. Had the shakshuka upon advice and it was as good as described!! In a town full of great eateries, Elka should not be overlooked!!!
BEST CAFÉ IN HOVE/ BRIGHTON!! Staff are super friendly and the food and coffee is amazing! The decor inside is beautiful and the overall atmosphere is calm and inviting. you can work in here or have a brunch with friends ! I love!!!
Lots of vegan and vegetarian options including cakes and savory dishes!!
It’s also located near hove station and a short walk to the beach so perfect to grab a takeaway drink and cake for a beach day!

I was curious to meet this cafe that recently opened around my neighbourhood. I came with two friends for a coffee and chat and absolutely loved it. Great service, brilliant coffee and the decoration makes you see how careful they were in every detail to create a lovely atmosphere. From beautiful mugs to fresh flowers on each table. I saw there’s a piano in the corner, so looking forward to musical events as well. Overall, this cafe is a refreshing novelty to the area that, authentic and cozy.
Popped in with my husband for the first time today and was lucky enough to get a seat in the window which was really pleasant with the sun streaming in. My husband had the Ruben's Toasted Sandwich on sourdough which came with great skin on fries. He thought it both delicious and substantial and excellent value. I had the Chicken and Pesto Ciabatta with side salad. Beautifully presented and delicious. We had a pot of tea each and which stayed hot and I think was fresh tea leaves. Would definitely come back!
Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. Lily was extremely helpful with suggestions on what to order. I ordered the Roman sandwich with chips, and it was quite possibly one of the best cafe sandwiches I have had. Staff were incredibly accommodating and helped us move the tables together to facilitate a larger party. I'll definitely return in the future.

During our trip to london we decided to visit brighton as well. After walking around for a bit and exploring the area we came arcross this place, where we sat down to eat and drink something before we continued our exploration. The food here is very good and not expensive at all. (I loved the smoothies they had to offer????). The owner and staff were very nice and gave us free water with our food. would really recommend this place if your looking to get a healthy and filling lunch or just want to drink something. They have great options for vegetarians as well!
