Lovely cafe selling variety of high-quality, reasonably-priced home cooked meals and snacks. All the staff were very friendly and professional, and it was nice to talk to the chef about her recipe for the delicious homemade salad dressing. I had what sounds like an everyday chicken burger meal, but it was fabulous - very professionally cooked from scratch, and totally different to a fast food version. One of the tastiest meals I've had out for a long time. I'd highly recommend a visit - I'm definitely going back when I'm next in Taunton. Very good energy from the chef and all the staff. I hope this cafe continues to prosper and that they can invest back into the business.
We called for lunch yesterday whilst visiting Taunton and was pleasantly surprised I had Sweet and sour chicken on a jacket potato with lovely salad and homemade coleslaw and my husband had ham egg and chips and both were delicious the staff were very friendly and worked hard the cafe was clean with a nice atmosphere will definitely call again when we are in the area.
We’ve passed this cafe many times but never ventured in until today. We have 2 double breakfasts with a large latte and a tea. Both drinks were very generous and the breakfast although it took a little while it was definitely worth the wait and again piping hot so was cooked to order which I like! Good quality sausages and bacon, real butter on the toast - prefect! Tables were squeaky clean and the girls was very attentive. I think there were 3 girls working and it was lovely to hear their laughter, they obviously really enjoy their work. We’ll be in again for sure!
We've dined here on several occasions and on every occasion the food and the service have been 5* The staff team are lovely and clearly enjoy what they do and working with each other and that shows in both the superb level of service and the excellent quality of the food ! Thank you too all involved !
This is a very quaint little cafe situated on the high street. Staff were very friendly. Sign of good cafe was that it was very busy.
Good selection of meals and drinks and all at reasonable prices. Myself and wife ordered the all day breakfast and service was pretty quick.
Food was cooked to a good standard and thoroughly enjoyed it. Will visit again next time in town.

Not a bad little cafe and we would come back again I suppose if we had enough time on our hands. Service was friendly and not deserving of a complaint, however it was incredibly slow. Side note - How many Cafe Culture employees does it take to make a messy hot chocolate? Not sure but if there are 3 it'll take them a long while. We received a very messy hot chocolate and were told that that is actually how it's meant to look - Pic attached. Not sure which culture of cafe they practice but Perhaps they're wrong in this instance.
Great to sit upstairs in a window seat and relax watching the world ???? go by as we ate a lovely meal
