We are a French family who stopped on our way completely by chance at this adress. The food was really good, home made (so it fully make sense to wait a bit, referring here to a comment complaining about it), even our little kids enjoyed it. Amazing Carbonara, very good burger, friendly service, Merci ! We even left with a painting that is now decorating our home.
Simply stunning food. Popped in for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Me and the wife are even considering travelling from Glasgow area just for a dinner one night, it's that good.
We enjoyed our dinner at Café & Bistro very much. For us, the Bistro is in the top 2 restaurants for us during our stay in Scotland. We did a round trip through Scotland July 2022 and stayed 11 days.
The side dishes for the main courses are served on an extra plate for the whole table.
Beautiful wee place, the food was spot on. Six steaks all cooked exactly as we asked for and extra veg on top. Polite and attentive staff. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again when we are back this way.

Having failed to find any decent restaurants in Aviemore where we were staying for the week, we spotted this restaurant in Kingussie on Google maps and thought it looked promising, so phoned to make a Friday evening dinner reservation. The food was excellent, as was the service. Nice decor, cosy space, good ambience. My husband opted for the cod main course with pavlova for dessert. I had the steak which was cooked to perfection and was tempted by the intriguing Dalwhinnie whisky and black pepper ice cream. Good value and we will definitely be paying another visit on our next trip to the area. Incidentally, be sure to book in advance as we saw several people with no booking being turned away.
We went for lunch and had the venison burger, its not luxurious however the price is right for what you get. Great service and they offer bring your own alcohol so nip to the co-op and take a beer in with you.
