Cafe 44 gets even better each time I go there. Amy and Ellie were very welcoming to.my friend and I, as ever. My friend had never been there and was very impressed@ They are so friendly and helpful and are very kind to customers who need particular help. They seem to have a large number of regulars, who they know by name and immediately bring their order without even being asked. Service is very prompt and you get a warm smile from both young women when they take an order or bring food&drink. The breakfasts, even the Small Breakfast, are copious and such good quality and value. My veggie brekkie, at £8, was huge and had a really good range of food, including mozzarella sticks and chips(!), as well as all the usual. Two eggs too! Thanks to the hard-working Turkish Chef&owner! My flat white was yummy, so I ended up having two! I cant recommend this cafe enough! We will be back again! Why go anywhere else?! Thank you all!
PS The toilet is large and very clean, always a good sign.

Outstanding breakfast in a box take away food. The Missus had a quarterpound burger with all the trimmings and she was very happy indeed. We get take out from here all the time as its a reliable source of sustenance to blow the hunger pangs right Outta the window!!! Try it, you won't be disappointed
The Mad Alexander's came to Cafe 44 to review a cafe that Wellingborough people are all talking about !!!
We were approaching the cafe and we knew it was going to be good as every table was fully seated. We managed to grab the very last table as we walked in. We looked through the menu and it was your typical Jenny's menu !!! If your familiar with that menu lay out, if not its your typical Breakfast, Lunch and burger layout !!! There was nothing on the menu that cried out to us stating that this was a Cafe 44 original.
My wife ordered a Cheese, Ham and onion Omlette and fries and I opted for the ½ pounder chilli burger with chips. With 2 cans which came to £17.17p which was above average for this type of meal. The food came to the table from us ordering it 10-15 minutes later, which was really good service considering there was only 2 cooks and one waitress.
When the food came, the presentation of the food was good, my wifes Omlette looked nice , where my Burger and fries looked small in comparison to my wife's dinner. The chilli burger came in a floured dusted soft Roll/ bun and the first bite I could tell you, it was your typical Burger van burger, by all means it was nice, as that's what I ordered, but to jazz things up a little it could of done with a bit of salad in the burger, and being a chilli burger it could of done with being a little spicier, no complaints about the fries, they were hot and tasty with the chilli and mayo they put on the fries ( as requested ) as for my wife's meal of cheese, ham & onion Omlette she said it tasted very nice all though it was a little bit greasy for her liking.

We would of given this 5 stars ???? but the quality of the food and presentation of the food dropped it down a star ???? with a little bit of lettuce, Tomato in the burger and folding the Omlette correctly would of got you the 5 star review, I totally understand its a busy restaurant but Presentation and Quality goes along way.
First time visitor. Food quality is very good, portion size large for the price, cafe is nice and clean, staff too follow good hygiene practices. Being a local lad I am surprised I've missed this little gem, will return sometime soon .
Good food, sensible priced, friendly staff nice relaxing atmosphere.
We shall return when next in Wellingborough 5*****
Staff are so friendly and polite, my late looked so cute.. little hearts was a nice touch.id never seen before.
One of the best cafe's I've ever been in, the staff are so pleasent and friendly nothing is too much trouble.love it.
Excellent service, food very tasty and great portions always hot and cooked the way you like it ,nothings to much trouble for the staff , always a warm welcome and happy staff, best cafe in wellingborough, 5 stars all day
