Need to learn how to speak to people. Ive been a regular for a while ive had drinks and food and once i even tried their chocolate cake which is how i realised i liked the physalis fruit that was on the cake. However today ive not had much money this month due to switching from a 4 weekly paid job to a monthly paid apprenticeship where the pay day happened to be just after i started and having a little one to get christmas things for. So for once i couldnt afford anything and had nowhere else to go (apprentices arent allowed to stay at the workplace alone to eat if everyone leaves since its the rules) so i sat there with my own sandwiches tidied up after myself and everything there werent customers around so i wasnt taking anyones seat . Not only were they asking me to leave which didnt surprise me but i would have liked the loyalty for their regulars, they talked to me like i was scum they said im not staff and the tills over there if i want to order something or get out. I honestly couldnt stop crying for an hour ive never been spoken to like im a stain on someones shoe before for just eating a sandwich on an empty table when they could have just politely asked me to leave. When i get paid I'm not coming back again.
Clean and neat cafe serving a variety of snacks and drinks. Staff friendly and efficient. This cafe is located on a mezzanine, which can be accessed via stairs or a wheelchair lift. Only had a cappuccino on this visit but would consider a cake off their selection next time. Good for lunch or a morning or afternoon break whilst shopping inshore.
Make no mistake - this is the very best tea/coffee place of all the retail outlets in Lancashire. You'll get quality, attention to detail and good service - every time. Much better than Pendle Village, far superior to Boundary Mill, ten times better than Winfield's and in a totally better universe than Barton Grange. Here you'll always get quality 'cos they always give it.
Good atmosphere, great small selection of loose leaf teas as well as coffee. Often have gluten and dairy free options. Plenty for vegetarians, some vegan options but needs more.
Great little cafe. Food was fresh and tasty. Staff were great . Always come here when we visit the Mills. 5 stars.
Nice friendly staff, limited choice of food but excellent value
