Eine versteckte Perle. Man fühlt sich wie in der Zeit zurückversetzt. Nicht zu voll und primär gefüllt mit Stammgästen.

Ce restaurant fait partie des cafés historiques de Lausanne, la nourriture est bonne et le lieu est superbe dans le style vieille brasserie art nouveau. L'emplacement est très centré mais en retrait donc très calme et charmant. Très jolie terrasse en été entre les bâtiments des banques et la poste de Saint François. Le service est bon et très sympathique. Petit bémol pour les pizzas qui étaient excellentes et très abordables qui ont disparu de la carte...
Brasserie style restaurant located on the top floor of the Lausanne conservatory. The menu does lack fantasy, why does the chef not take some inspiration from music when composing his dishes? The waitresses are kind but it's marginally polite when they leave the restaurant together to smoke on the terrace during service, smelling strongly from tobacco smoke when serving their guests. Prices are OK and food has decent quality.
Je vais régulièrement manger à midi dans ce restaurant. Le service est parfait et rapide, et les plats excellents. Toujours un plaisir d'y aller.
I rarely write reviews but you need to know that while visiting Lausanne from New Orleans I stopped in because the environment looked nice, and it was. I ordered the "crispy chicken sandwich" which arrived promptly. I cut it in half, took one bite of the two, and saw it was pale and undercooked. You know when you get raw chicken and it is mealy and gross? I spit it out, as raw chicken is, after all, very unhealthy. "So you want it cooked more?" asked the waitress. Yes. Cooked chicken please. Ten minutes later my dish returned, but not really redone: The uneaten half had been refried with the mayo still on it, unappealing enough, and - get this - the portion I had spit out on the plate had been recooked and placed back on the same partial bun with the bite missing! This is Fawlty Towers territory now. I didn't want to be an ugly American and cause a scene, so I finished the good Swiss wine, ate a few fries, paid the bill and left with a mealy taste in my mouth. Oh and this was a $30 (!) chicken sandwich. Eat here with caution.
Situé au centre ville un peu à l'écart de la circulation avec une jolie terrasse pour les beaux jours. Jolie salle intérieure dans un cadre un peu vieillot mais qui a du cachet et qui devient assez vite bruyante. Carte évolutive en fonction des saisons avec des prix corrects pour les bons petits plats servis. Le personnel est sympathique mais le service peut être un peu lent lors de forte affluence. Mieux vaut réserver pour y manger à midi. Il est également possible de s'y rendre pour juste boire un petit verre en fin de journée par exemple.
Un établissement super ! La déco est agréable et soignée. On s'y sent bien . Le service est detendu, polie, serviable et à disposition.
Un établissement ou le temps s'arrête.
Les prix sont correctes pour Lausanne.
Une pizza à 12chf , c'est donné !!!
