Wir stoppten lediglich für eine Tasse Kaffee. Wir setzten uns ins Café, da auf der Terrasse zum einen kein Platz mehr war und zum anderen, es uns auch zu kalt war. Im Café - was nur eine beschränkte Anzahl an Plätzen bietet - war es hingegen leer. Aber wir haben die 3 Mädels beobachten können, wie sie den Laden geschmissen haben. Mit sehr viel Engagement und Freude, haben sie Kaffee, Bier, Cocktails für ihre Gäste gezapft, kredenzt und schlussendlich mit einem Lächeln verteilt. Wenn es uns wieder einmal nach Genf verschlagen sollte, werden wir sicher ein zweites Mal vorbeischauen. Wenn dies im Sommer sein sollte, dann hoffen wir auf ein Plätzchen auf der Terrasse.

This is one of the best places in Geneva’s Old Town to hang out solo or with companions. It is perfect for drinks and appetisers (no food) after work or on the weekend. The drinks are a little pricey but won’t break your bank, and the great ambience esp on warm sunny days and evenings make it worthwhile. The waiting staff are super attentive and offer an excellent service. Definitely worth a visit.
Il caffè-ristorante che è il mio preferito nella città vecchia, con la possibilità di sedersi fuori a guardare il passeggio, o di entrare all'interno per godersi l'atmosfera di vecchio pub accogliente e caldo. Vi serviranno con cortesia; la rapidità dipende dal numero di clienti, che può essere assai grande, ma fanno comunque del loro meglio. Da consigliare assolutamente, prima di salutare la bella e malinconica statua di Clementina (che prende il suo nome appunto dalla Clémence).
The lunch here is superb. We were on a 3 day stay in Geneva and sat here for lunch, not expecting to eat some of the best food on the trip! We got the chicken pasta (dish of the day) and the dish with shredded duck with Foie Gras sauce. It was so good, that we tried to go back for dinner on our last day, but unfortunately this place does not serve dinner.
The Atmosphere is probably fine if you are ok with cigarette smoke. lots and lots of the patrons smoke and the square is misty. I didn't appreciate it, but the food was absolutely worth it! USA visitors should definitely go. I haven't had food this good even in LA (my hometown) it's very close to the lake & and 2 minutes walk from the ST. Pierre cathedral.
Serveur plutôt sympathique. Un petit bémol
Être plus à l’écoute car nous avons demandé des cacahuètes, chips le serveur nous a dit oui par un geste de tête mais nous l’a pas ramené. Dommage mais je pense que je reviendrais.
Un excellent café-restaurant, dans un des plus agréables quartier de Genève. L'accueil et le service sont irréprochables. Le plat du jour (un pot-au-feu) était succulent et franchement abordable pour un plat de cette qualité à Genève. Je recommande !
