Un "must" en La Aldea, quién va, repite. La responsable un encanto.
Like stepping into a different world, Cactualdea offers a tranquil and quiet getaway from - especially - some of the more touristy areas of the beautiful island of Gran Canaria. I think most people would be surprised to discover the variety of cacti...
The place is well made, and offers an intimate personal walk around the park. However, it would be nice with either an actual guide or just more signs with more information - or an immersive digital experience to explain the different species. There are some wonderful spaces, which - I'm guessing - offers communal activities. These are however - seemingly - slightly run down, which is a shame. I would definitely recommend anyone coming to visit the park, even if it's just to enjoy the calmness and quiet of the place. I'm unfortunately only offering three stars, due to the lack of information about the core of what Cactualdea is all about; the cacti.

Bit of a gem this one. The juices are freshly made from actual fruit - and you can see it happening because the kitchen area is open. The Canarian Salad likewise was freshly made with what looked like locally grown produce (apart from the tinned tuna). It was simply made and tasty. There was enough for two of us for lunch so the portions were generous. The staff were friendly and made sure everyone was served in the order they arrived. It's a place where you can sit and relax whilst waiting for your food and perhaps one of the Peacocks will pass by looking for lunch.
The food was bad considering the very high prices but the place had nice decor and staff.

So was von unfreundlich habe ich noch nie erlebt.Der Personal hatte kein Lust zu arbeiten.Wir würden nicht Mal angeschaut,wir wollten was bestellen aber keine kam zu Tisch.Wir sind zur Theke hingegangen wollten was bestellen die Frau hat sich gedreht und ist gegangen in andere Richtung. schade um den schöner Park rund herum.Das Personal war sehr unfreundlich.Wir sind einfach gegangen.
Great place, so much to see. It’s very tidy and it would be a shame not to visit this park.
