Amazing lunch, gorgeous pies and pastry's. They adapted the menu to cater for my little daughter and niece's. And of course we had to try the cakes on display which were also delicious.
Lovely little place, food was good, piping hot, and the most insane milkshake! excellent value for money
Will I eat and drink there again? 'Yes blooming, please.'
I'll be back shortly for the homemade Rabbit pie.
We had lunch here today, for my Sister's birthday, food was amazing, great value for the amount you get. Atmosphere was very calming. I would certainly recommend to anyone.
Lovely place in Fareham, beautifully fitted out. Rather cramped though. We had americano coffee which was not very nice, quite bitter as though it had been standing a while. Their pies and savoury slices looked wonderful and were served with a lovely mixed salad but, the dressing was very sweet, the savoury pies and slices , although tasty, had lost their crispness due to being microwaved ????. I thought it expensive and the service very slow. Unlikely to return.
Just came back from lunch. I will not recommend this place to vegans and vegetarians, there's exactly one vegetarian option and no vegan ones. You can get a gluten-free bread, though.
I had a weird interaction with one member of staff after coming out of the toilet. She asked me about what sauce I'd like with my eggs and since I didn't order any sauce, I didn't know what she was talking about. I was told off for that, interestingly. My hot chocolate was cold by the time I ate my muffin, and I'm not the one to talk while I eat, that's my partner. I almost snorted it in - I was that hungry! Cold drink which cost me over £5 was left on the table and when we shared that with staff while paying we only got a 'sorry' in return.
Plus, our table was sticky and the only music we heard was Ed Sheeran's.
The meal was nice and served pretty quickly.
After leaving £25 for the meal, I feel like three stars are pretty generous.
Had lunch with mum. Wonderful array of home made pasties, pies, quiches, cakes etc. High quality drinks and sensible prices. Very attentive service and I would whole heartedly recommend. Pasties come with a nice salad. They also do gluten free sandwiches.
Fabulous! What a hidden jewel in Fareham! Amazing fresh ingredients, real homemade cakes and pastries and coffee that will set you up for tomorrows meeting ????
Sue, Denise and the whole team are so friendly and helpful, they run a perfectly delightful boutique coffee shop that deserves a visit. I went once for breakfast and booked the high tea for a few days later. Make sure you book to get your place and enjoy!
Thank you for two great experiences!
