Amazing fish and chips, best we've had in a long time! Lovely cafe, friendly staff too. Only down side for us is that dogs are allowed (my husband is allergic) but that is what it is and not a problem on our visit. The "best" fish and chip shop in filey was closed. Glad it was, as it would have taken a lot to beat what we had ????
Outstanding, best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Fish was soft but not crumbly, batter was thick, crispy and really well seasoned, chips were lovely and brown (assume they are cooked in beef dripping?) and still soft in the centre. Even the curry sauce was delicious, fruity but not sweet. Portion was good, not huge but filling. We drove to Filey from Leeds which was nearly two hours, but the day out felt well worth it after this.
Amazing fish and chips! Best about. Travelled from Leeds on Tuesday for these! Keep doing what you are doing! Friendly staff too. I purchased the small fish and chips with added peas. (Great portion).
Super crispy fish and chips better than many. CJs is my new go to chippy in the area for also being dog friendly.
Quite possibly the best fish and chips I've ever had. If you're after a good seaside chippy just come here.
Highly recommend. Fantastic food. Fish was cooked perfectly. Lovely staff, and dog friendly. No veggie food, but they went out of their way to get a baked potato from next door for our veggie friend.
We were pleasantly surprised at how nice and well priced this place was. Fish chips bread curry sauce and a cup of tea £12 each to eat in. They could do with working on their chips a bit but the fish was one of the best we have had in years. Definitely will return.
Best fish and chips I have EVER had!! Had fish and chip special, with side, bread and butter and drink. Staff really polite and friendly, even gave our dog a sausage. Cannot recommend enough.
