What an incredibly cosy & tranquil place! Lynda and Peter made us feel so welcome in their plush and comfortable B&B. Nothing was too much trouble but equally we felt like we had our own space & privacy. We had a very comfortable stay in this beautiful period property with a spotless, spacious room with luxury bathroom. Really good location for exploring the area, Frome is a great market town, plus Stonehenge and Bath are an easy drive away. Perfect!
Have just spent a couple of nights in this little gem. Peter and Linda where the complete hosts, nothing was any trouble (only us :) ) Recommended a lovely restaurant within secs of the house which we were very impressed with. Room very comfortable and clean with everything you needed. Breakfast was first rate and the homemade preserves excellent. Would definitely book again if in the area. Thank you both of you for making our stay so plesent
Thank you for your hospitality, you were both very welcoming during our stay, room was spacious clean and had everything we needed... breakfast was lovely and filling, we had chopped fruit bowl, toast and jam and cooked breakfast with coffee and apple juice.
Just back from a wonderful stay with Lynda and Peter, who are such a brilliant double act and made us feel very welcome. Spotless rooms, with the best shower I have ever experienced. The mini fridge was a great touch, with fresh water and milk provided each day. The breakfast was exceptional. I wholeheartedly recommend the home made porridge. Nothing was too much trouble and I would love to return.
Had a fantastic stay with Peter & Lynda, beautiful Old English Cottage full of character, superb hosts, great service and spotlessly clean, great breakfast with quality food, very comfortable bed. Great pub a few yards up the road, easy walking, good beer and lovely pub food. We look forward to visiting again and we have no hesitation in recommending this establishment to everyone. Very friendly and great value. 5*
From arrival, 11/04/2023, to departure, 12/04/2023, everything was perfect. Cannot rate high enough. The room was excellent. The breakfast was delicious. The hosts, Lynda & Peter, were perfect. Highly recommend and we will definitely stay here again.
Right from the moment I arrived, Lynda and Peter welcomed me into their beautiful character home, lovely period features coupled with modern conveniences. Large room with modern en-suite, really love the sparkly shower panel. Bed was very comfortable, slept really well, well attended to at breakfast with home grown preserves and lovely cooked breakfast. Nothing too much trouble, even got me from and to the station, truly above and beyond, thank you. My first trip away in 10 months, just a shame I was only staying 1 night, I would have no hesitation to return if they'd have me :)
We stayed here for two nights on our way to Cornwall and really enjoyed it. It's a really quaint cottage and is so full of character. The hosts Lynda and her hubby are such lovely people and could not do enough for us.Our room was spotless and had a really comfortable bed. The shower room was really quirky, with a huge shower. It is in a very quiet area, so you are guaranteed a good nights sleep. Breakfast is lovely and is served in the really cosy dining room. Thanks for being such wonderful hosts!
