This was our second visit. It was again, a truly amazing experience. Alison is the perfect host. The attention to detail is second to none. We were in Glaslyn, which has a super king bed and the whole room is spacious with a terrific en suite. There are ample toiletries, tea and coffee, biscuits, slippers and bath robes. Charging facilities, torches, hair drier and diffuser are just some of the touches that are provided. The breakfast was delicious, nothing was too much trouble. The best B&B we’ve stayed at.
The B&B is in a great location just outside Porthmadog. The room was very roomy, comfortable and quiet, and had everything you might possibly need. Alison was a lovely host and nothing was too much trouble, she really seemed to care about giving her guests a great experience. She also cooked excellent breakfasts! The weather was also sunny & warm throughout my 3 day stay which made it even better. I would 100% try to stay here again next time I am in the area.
What a lovely place to stay. Alison and Dave run it, Alison is such a lovely lady, nothing too much trouble, rooms are well stocked with tea, coffee, biscuits, sugar, and milk. A bottle of local beer, even a bar of chocolate. |The bathroom even has a little basket of essentials. The only thing I would say is bring some earplugs as the Rd can be a little noisy at certain times of the day but that's only if your hearings a bit sensitive like my husband.|
Allison is honestly the best host I’ve come across. Room was so comfortable and everyone was lovely. The Hunters chicken that we had one of the nights was probably one of the best meals I’ve ever experienced and the Welsh water was class. Such a beautiful home and great views all round of such a great area. Molli the family’s dog gave the cutes welcome upon arrival. Overall one of the best weekends away I’ve ever had and I’ll definitely visit again, Allison absolutely smashed it ,she’s the kindest soul.
Our stay with Alison was perfection and just Heavenly. From our lovely warm and cozy bedroom filled with ever desire we needed or wanted on our holiday. The breakfast was simply gorgeous and cooked to perfection. To the additional breakfast items on offer to the goodies provided everyday and the excellent guidance on tourist routes etc. Our stay was like a luxury home away from home. Alison was warm and inviting, her spa with beautiful views was appreciated after a day of walking and our bedroom with the super king bed was just heaven to spread out in.
Thank you Alison for such a lovely stay for 5 nights.
Amazing! Loved staying here so much! The room was clean and comfy and was equipped with everything you could need. Breakfast was excellent. My partner said it was the best cooked breakfast he had ever had. We loved going in the hot tub whilst enjoying the mountain views. Our host Alison was brilliant and very welcoming. We would highly recommend this b&b!
Lovely B&B Alison is a great host who goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome.
Breakfast was amazing, beautiful views and the hot tub was so refreshing and relaxing.
Would definitely stay again.
We wanted to visit Port Meirion and booked into Bwlch y Fedwen for 3 nights. Everything about this B&B was amazing. The warm greeting by Alison as we drove into their car park was just the beginning. The car park is at the rear of the building and as such the cars were tucked away nice and snug.|We then went up to our lovely room. The bed was large and very comfy, The bedding was lovely and fresh as were the towels in the bathroom. The room also had a small fridge which was handy to keep a few beers in to drink in the garden in the evening. Breakfast was a real treat, all freshly cooked and a big selection. There was also Greek yogurt, cereal, fruit, nuts and fruit juice.|Apart from all of that the garden is quite large and made up of a lot of different seating areas, it's amazing. I have real garden envy. If I lived closer I would stay there sometimes just for the sheer homeliness of the place. we usually stay in hotels but this B&B has made us rethink our normal decisions. Well done Alison and David, keep up the good work.
