Martin is out to rip people off. Sent car in for new turbos. Had my car for 3 months to try find a fault with transmission. Charged over £1000 to never find the fault. Told me he fitted new transfer box. New transfer box ecu. FOUND A REAL GARAGE. Had it 2 days and replaced transfer box ecu and problem solved.

All the things he would have removed to remove engine to change turbos. Car not put back together properly.
AVOID THIS GARAGE. COWBOY THATS OUT TO RIP YOU OFF. THERE ARE DECENT GARAGES OUT THERE BUT BUXTON 4X4 ISNT ONE TO BE TRUSTED.

AS YOU CAN SEE FROM MARTINS REPLY. YOU HAVE A ISSUE WITH THE WORK HE HAS CARRIED OUT AND HE SENDS SOLICITORS LETTERS TO GET OUT OF FIXING THE ISSUE HE CAUSED.
Also to say I was very pleased with getting cheap parts is a lie. I told him money wasn’t an issue and what ever it costs it costs. I just wanted my car sorting what ever the cost was. That was my mistake telling him money isn’t an issue. He took advantage.

I went to Buxton 4x4 following a recommendation from a friend. I was very pleased with the professional and efficient service. They clearly know their stuff! No hesitation in recommending.
I've been taking my Land Rover Defender 110 to Buxton 4x4 on and off for years. My latest Land Rover required work and l knew they would do a thorough and fantastic professional job.
My shaking steering wheel was investigated and the front brakes were the problem.
Martin phoned me with a detailed response to all my concerns with a breakdown of costs too.
All the work was done the same day. All l can say is, what an exciting and fantastic fix. The Defender is perfect.

You get what you pay for, the service this garage gives is like no other, I will never use any other garage as long as I own a 4x4 landrover or jaguar.
Week before I was due to get my service and mot, I was in a bump, Martin was brilliant, got all the parts needed for my car so quickly! (Given others are currently waiting weeks for grills and radiators!) Booked me in and got everything sorted and fixed very quickly ready just in time for my holiday! The finish is just like the original if not better! Thank you so so much!

Was recommended to use Buxton 4x4 by a local garage as they didn't specialise in Land Rover. Martin and his team performed an absolutely excellent diagnostic and fault repair solution for a good few puzzles that had afflicted my freelander 2 for a year. He took time to explain clearly which issues he could solve straight away, which needed looking into, and was fully transparent at every stage. Each piece of work was performed diligently and honestly with only parts needed being replaced; he even suggested not spending money unnecessarily and to call him when a part had reached its end of life which he felt confident to predict (and I believe him!) - a great experience, I have found my new specialist, and he'll be putting up with my irks and gripes from now on!
