I know that we are living in a financial crisis time but £4 for a white americano. I don't think so. The staff was okay and the place as well. But for sure I won't be coming back with prices like this. Sorry.
Nice local spot for breakfast with affordable price. Full English Breakfast with drinks meal is only £10. Food is tasty.
Cannot fault this place or the staff at all. Had a really nice bite to eat and relaxing cuppa, In a clean and relaxed environment. Staff seem happy and are extremely welcoming.
Prices are reasonable too.
I can recommend the roast dinner baguette. Lamb today, and I'll be returning to try the other meats on differnt days.
An excellent old fashioned cafe which also serves more modern fare. My scrambled egg, toast, salmon was as it should be but was so plentiful that I couldn’t finish it. Her indoors’ zingy breakfast (toast, avocado, sun dried toms, chilli jam, spinach, eggs, halloumi, beans) was pronounced delicious and flavoursome and also plentiful. Good value for money. Recommended for breakfast treat. I guess they stay open all day and I’d also guess that the later food is similarly yummy.
By the looks of it I had a very unfortunate experience. Hot chocolate was very sickly and my sausage sandwich was by far the worst I've ever had, bread felt old, brown sauce inside instead of ketchup and the sausages were ever so rubbery, when I took it back and said it sorry for not eating it it just wasn't very nice I had a wholesome glare as if I was in the wrong for saying so even tho I didn't declare a refund and took our plates and cups up for then to save them a job...your welcome...Will not be returning.

Clean Tidy all get a check in the box with its rustic look with worn wooden tables and chalk boards.
Service was as expected I redeem a full English breakfast which came with 1(overcooked) sausage, 2 back bacon, tomato, runny... er... egg. Beans. Choice of toast. Hashbrown undercooked, choice of got drink and orange juice. And toast.
Free WiFi was nice and wasn't too busy.
Shame about the very overcooked sausage and slightly smelly toilet.
£7 for a baguette. Where you can go Tesco's 4 shops next to for a meal deal.
When another customer ordered a tea you could tell he has Alzheimer's but the waitress was rude to him "quicker you pay quicker I make the tea"
Food was nice but wouldn't pay £7 for it again.
Quick and friendly service. We normally head out to Farthingloe farm cafe but wanted to try somewhere different as we were in town. Wife is vegan and very much enjoyed her breakfast there
