Hard to rate really as I only had a can of Coke, and even that was bought for me, but it seemed popular and my wife and daughter enjoyed their chocolate brownie. Nice to be able to sit down and enjoy the views.
What a brilliant place, food was fantastic, friendly staff and amazing views up here. Well worth a visit. You can walk up here from the bottom of the hill....its steep! Or you can park in the car park up the hill. Will be coming back again ????
Dog friendly!
Beautiful walk up and around Butser hill and the roundhouse is open Thursday to Sunday for hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, ice- creams, shakes, snacks, cakes, toasties and breakfast rolls. The best coffee! Dogs can have a puppachino for £1 and there's a water bowl. A friendly, family run business and a welcome pit stop on our walks :) the toilet is open until around 4pm and there are picnic benches. There are several routes up Butser hill from various locations but if you fancy just a walk around the top and the views, there is a road that goes up there from the A3, just past the Hampshire hog but be aware that there are pedestrians, horses and cyclists that use the same road. There is car park with a path that leads to the roundhouse. The car park isn't free but you can pay by card when you leave and it's only a short walk from there to the top.
What a wonderful gem of a cafe! Right at the top of Butser Hill, it's popular with hikers, cyclists, and dog walkers, and of course people who want to drive up and use the large car park to do some walking and take in the amazing 360 degree views from the top. The cafe is currently open thur to sun 9am - 4pm, and serves hot and cold drinks, ice creams cakes, all day breakfast, pastries, sandwiches, burgers, and probably many more things too! There are proper toilets available, and there are even dog treats too! The staff are very friendly and it's a great place for a well-earned refreshment. There are lots of picnic tables and benches spread out. I went on a dry, sunny, clear day, I'm not sure it would be as much fun on a rainy day!
Really great place for walk, coffee, lunch and views! My dog loves and you can walk to QE Park as well. Stunning views around as its such a high point on South Downs.
Beautiful scenery and great walks (with dog)
Very generous and well put together bacon roll, plenty of crispyish bacon and decent bread so no complaints there. Espresso was plentiful and quick - did the job. The brownie was also really good

There can be no better sight, after a good walk up the hill, than this gem at the top.
