We are just back and the service and cleanliness was disgusting especially the pool area. The kids pool was actually green. The lodge was very very dated . The oven took ages to heat up and cook . ||We actually only got £50 of our deposit back . We were told the state we left it needed more time to clean . I am horrified . Considering the lodge is so dated ! We done everything we normally do - took the bins out , put dishwasher on , put towels in the bath . Stripped the kids bed . There is no manual to state what is required . We were told there was crisps on the floor ( we have 3 children and gave them some Pringles to share whilst we packed ) . The oven needed deep cleaned ( we used the oven once for nuggets an pizza) it needs a deep clean because it is old not because of us! They also said food clogged the sink . We used the dishwasher the entire sink and there was definitely no food clogging r the drains! I have never ever had this feedback after staying in loads of lodges . I think they do this to make up the price as the overal price was very cheap . Not family friendly . We have 3 young children . We don’t expect to hoover and deep clean a lodge before we leave . We leave it tidy and take the rubbish etc out and dishwasher on . If you are a family and don’t wish to deep clean before you leave I would AVOID. Also still waiting for a manager call back nearly 8 days later
Very clean, lovely lodge’s, well spaced out, brilliant facilities inside, kitchen and bathroom both in great condition and in the kitchen the utensils were all there, beds were so comfortable and the towels and bedding were of a really good quality. Not far from lots of places to visit, Dumfries House, amazing, Girvan, Ayr and so much more. We’d definitely book again if her were in the area
We stayed in the Turnberry accommodation which had plenty space for the 7 of us. I was provided with a baby gate, a highchair and she travel cot which helped us packing for our trip. It was February but the afternoon sun still shone on our decking area. Although it was cold it was pleasant to enjoy a coffee. The outdoor park area was perfect for our little ones and they lived exploring the grounds. The pool was a big hit. Simple and, in parts slightly tired looking but, overall the children enjoyed the session. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was great and having a hoover in the accommodation allowed us to clean up after meal times with the kids. I will be back. Thank you for a fun stay.
This is one of the nicest larks we have stayed at. Out of the way of the hustle and bustle but not too far. Was peaceful and extremely clean. Large smart TV with all the apps on. Kitchen had more than we needed and there was also an iron, ironing board and a hairdryer. Spacious decking with lovely views. We had pizza one night which was delicious. We used the pool which was clean and we had it to ourselves. The jacuzzi wasn't on but no bother. I will definitely be returning in the summer.
Just back from a weekend stay with my friend and was amazing. Few wee issues which were sorted straight away. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Accomodation, we stayed an no 10 and was excellent. So tranquil and relaxing. Reception area and lounge area just perfect. Would definitely return.
Brilliant place. There were 7 of us and did not feel cramped in the slightest. Accommodation had all the amenities that you would require. Leisure and cafe facility was brilliant also of which we frequented loads. Staff were delightful to deal with and nothing was a problem. Would highly recommend and will return.
I booked with my partner and 5 week old baby and can honestly say we had a lovely stay very relaxed place and beautiful lodge which was spotless and very modern. Checking in & out was extremely straight forward with no hassle what’s so ever. Can honestly say we will be back.
We came here as a couple on a 3 night break.
Check-in was smooth, got a text message giving code to key safe beforehand. The lodge was superb, clean even some added extra's were provided, washing up liquid, t-towels, dishwasher tablets.
Reception area and cafe/bar nice layout, clean and tidy. Only downside about the complex was the cafe/bar area closed at 7pm. If it had only stayed open until 9pm we would have been a lot happier.
Even if there had been a pub locally (the ones in Dailly are closed down) it would have been great, nearest pubs were 15-20mins drive away.
Overview would we go here again, very unlikely unless a local pub opened there. This place would be perfect for those who just want to get away and stay in a lodge.
