Hi I can’t seem to find anyway to contact you to ask about this place. Is this campsite still open or been closed down permanently? Thanks
I went here many years ago and I believe it only was selling cream teas and little cafe garden. Hoping this is the same place. I see you can camp here now. If it is the place the Cream teas are lush ????
Nice campsite situated in the rolling hills. Very simple just a field with some portacabins. You can have a campfire in the evenings. The tea room is open Saturday and Sunday 11-5. My children enjoyed waking up to see a couple of horses watching them from the next field. Nice a quiet we stayed one night on they way back home to break up the journey.
Beautiful campsite in a wonderful location. Large areas mean you can feel alone. Amazing camping with a log fire. Toilets are clean, and the showers are great - hot and powerful. The lady who runs it is absolutely lovely but we warned of the younger guy who's rather unfriendly. I highly recommend
First time we have ever been camping as a family (with one nine year old.)|As first timers we didn’t really know what to expect, on arrival the lady that met udon reception (sorry didn’t get a name) was very helpful and nice with lots of pointers and tips.|The actual field we camped in was great and what I would of wanted, lots of space for kids to make friends and play without worry of cars etc. Plenty of Portable toilets, water. Good showers (only two though) great shower with good water pressure ????.|As well as a good tea room and live music. Nearly forgot to mention you can have a camp fire for £5 which really added to the experience for our daughter with marshmallow toasting.|Great value for money, friendly people and has really given us the camping bug. Can’t wait too go again.
This campsite could really do with the portable toilets being spread evenly over the fields so its not such a walk in the middle of the night to the toilet but for a no frills campsite and it being such good value for money you cant beat it. Beautiful back drop and stunning views. Nice to be able to go the tea rooms and order food, cream teas and pizza takeaway etc. We will definitely go again.
Nice site, very basic facilities, but that's what you are paying for. The site is reasonably priced. The location is stunning. Staff gave us a nice welcome. Nice little cafe too. Definitely be back. Beautiful watching the sun go down sat by the camp fire.
We camped at Britchcombe farm with a group of friends. Due to family logistics I was there 2 days early with my 5 year old son. The people were friendly and relaxed and we had a lovely weekend. The scenery is stunning - the site is right next to the Uffington White Horse and there are lovely walks and bike rides right out of the site. We had a bonfire on the Saturday night, and although the site was really busy, we were spread out enough that no one was disturbed by other groups.
