Best KPortal Reviews

I took my car for MOT last year. I’ve end up with broken rear window which was replaced from different car by them. I wasn’t told till I notice broken glass, I was charged for Service which I did not requested and I did not received a call with a quote but when I went to check what taking so long, I was advised that all the fixing are done and service was done and now I need to pay! And MOT now passed. It was a lot of money! They did not change one part which put me in danger and other garage told me to ask them to replace. Manager/ owner is really rude and blame everyone else but himself for upsetting customers.
My rear window exploded week later and when I asked him politely to sort it out, he said yes but 3 months passed and when I approached him again I was shouted at and blamed for not finding window myself. The worst garage ever!
If you have no problem with your car, you might be lucky with MOT passing easily but if there is one thing wrong, be careful as you might end up be charged very high prices. Please avoid this place.
Just had new clutch fitted. They gave me estimate and final price was much cheaper than estimate. Very accomodating.
Excellent service, friendly team, they even valeted my car for me inside and out before I picked it up for free! Would highly recommend, will definitely be going back. Very trustworthy.
Brighton motors was my 6th emergency call to a mechanic to keep me on the road after my mot lapsed. They fitted me in next day and completed the needed repairs same day. Excellent
Phoned garage on the off chance he could check my engine coolant levels. I live 5 minutes away, so was able to pop in. He checked level and topped up. No charge. Very courteous and friendly. Thank you????
Not surprised to see so many negative reviews. They mugged off a girl friend of mine a couple of days ago.. Disgusting and when I say mugged off, it was more like a mugging.. Weve asked multiple garages to look at the cost and they were all disgusted and said she had pretty well been robbed @ On a positive note one of the garages was so embarrassed for the trade he offered to do the next service FREE
His way of saying sorry for the industry..
Totally Recommended.
I was diagnosed with a failed steering pump by another Worthing garage and the next day drive belt snapped.
Brought it here on a Saturday morning at 10 am and it was fixed the same day by 2 pm. They were aware of the question mark over the steering pump but I was only charged for what was needed and no BS.
Very friendly, great prices and highly recommended. Will use them again.
Best garage in town I can't see why so many negative reviews most of them seem to be mentioning the car wash place next door which is a separate business, or they mention work that was never done at BRM.
For me I found them to be extremely honest about the work that needs to be done, And arguably the most important thing for people is 1 quality of work and 2 price, Well I can say their labour per hr price are about a third cheaper than any garage in the local area And the quality of work is excellent and they always use factory parts no aftermarket.
Even if you have any issues after which I had a rattle after a bit of work done you can take it back no questions asked and we found it was a loose break line easy fix.
Thanks again guys keep up the good work.
Highly recommended.
Unable to fix my car, though i paid close a huge amount of money, and i've been told that the mechanics simply 'don't have x-ray vision' so i cannot be refunded. See the below negative experiences:
-AC filled- in less than a week not blowing cool air (was given warranties that the system holds gas fine).
-after they replaced 4 tires, an awful sound started on the OSF wheel, and after having it checked 3 times, the manager said it must be the gearbox, as all the signs (and their previous experiences on this model) pointed to it. I said that I don't believe it, as it only happened after heavy breaking (the gearbox wasn't even engaged at times) so i paid 1270 pounds for it. In the process replacing the gearbox and the clutch they broke the brake fluid container (didn't even tell me about it and later ignored my complaint) and guess what- the clutch was slipping (it wasn't before) and the gears were imprecise. I went back (with a video to prove it) and they sort of fixed it (but they did not find any causes, so I wonder if my car is special.
To be fair, they did manage to fix some problems, but even on these the agreed amount of money was not the same as the final one i had to pay (either they forgot to add parts or simply the part's price went up).
At least on 2 occasions I was given a specific day to bring the car in and promised that it would be fixed and that was not the case. I do realise that mechanics are not magicians, but this has caused me great inconvenience and the garage appears to take more cars in than they can actually fix.
I did not see any money refunded from the unneeded gearbox replacement and I still had to drive a car that at times sounded like it's falling apart. Instead, as a courtesy, my car has been cleaned inside and outside at a very high standard (something that would cost around 30 pounds).
I will not express any personal opinion about the professionalism of the work done there, but considering the above there is no need to.
