Lovely place with really friendly and attentive staff. It's great to have people who really care about what they do. The food was also excellent.
Absolutely recommend Bridge Street, me and my colleagues had a fabulous time at our Christmas meal this evening, staff very friendly and food was absolutely delicious. Will come again ????
Great food great value Lunch time menu We had £15 for 2 course
The waiter, Luke was fantastic. However the food was really disappointing £22.00 for ribeye steak £5.00 for side of chips!?, I know ribeye is fatty. But this was not a great meat to fat. Real shame dont recommend and will not go again. And when you spend this much money on food I expect a proper place mat not a laminated menu.
Had a lovely afternoon tea. Lovely sandwiches, 3 different flavours 4 of each, scones with clotted cream and Tiptree jam and a selection of small cakes. So many we had to have a doggy bag. Plenty of tea too with top-up. Staff friendly and very obliging. Place had a nice feel too so definitely worth a visit.
Nice place. We were trying something different for our anniversary as we normally go to ALEC'S. This place looks really nice but it is not fine dinning. While we were trying to have a romantic meal there were kids climbing all over the chairs. Staff are very nice but the service just did not feel refined or polished.
Me and my wife have just got our cab 30 minutes earlier than expected as the bar closes earlier than we was told when we paid the £200 for 5 course meal with a free bar. The food was amazing as was the staff. The music was shite. If your either 14 years old or 80 years old , then this is the place for you. Maybe on a different night other than new years Eve, it would be good. I'm highly disappointed with our evening and wished we'd spent our evening at the horse and groom where we went last year.
We visited here on a Friday night as part of a surprise 60th birthday celebration. There were 16 of us and we had the private room which we thought would mean we would receive a good level of service. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The table was booked for 7.30pm onwards with the birthday recipient due to arrive just after 8pm. Upon arrival, there were still cleaning products left on the seats and the shelves. We were offered a drink which did arrive promptly. From then on though, the service dramatically deteriorated. Nobody else was offered drinks when they arrived; the menus were distributed late; nobody came over to take our food orders so we had to ask someone; the starters came out at about 9pm with the mains arriving at nearly 10.30pm!. When we came to pay, none of the card machines could get a signal in that part of the restaurant so we had to all go one by one down to the bar area to pay. In the end, we ended up leaving at 12 midnight! Nobody apologised and no discount was offered on the quite considerable bill. When this was The Blue Bridge, the service was good but unfortunately after tonight's episode, we shall not be returning.
