Brilliant farm shop, really handy and great selection of meat and veg. Food is sourced fresh from a local butchers and prices are really reasonable. Really friendly guy who runs the shop, we've been going to this farm shop for nearly 2 years now.
I visited here after hearing about it from a few people, but TBH I'm not that impressed. I'm open to correction but I suspect the food is bought elsewhere & repackaged as their own; even the eggs seem quite 'regular' whereas others I've had from farm shops have been drastically better than those from a supermarket.
I bought the 'special offer' steaks and despite being cooked to perfection (rare) they were very, very chewy. I'm really disappointed as I thought I'd found somewhere to buy exceptional produce within a short distance, but my search continues!
The shop is now closed, the property is up for sale..shame was great for meat at cheap rates...
Fantastic farm shop with great produce, friendly and helpful owners, even helped us find another farm nearby for fresh healthy milk. Really good value meat, fish, veg, and homemade jams, pickles and cakes to be had here, highly recommended.

I was recommended the place as a good deal for steaks, and they are good indeed. But today i had a really bad experience there. Got a deal of 2 trays of ribeyes for a tenner. Also got tempted into getting fillet roast, the price was good. Altogether my purchesas should have been 34 quid. But i had a blonde moment... only when i got into the car, i started to.realize that i had given the guy 3 notes - a 20 and 2 tenners and 4 quid in coins.
I turned back and returned to the shop. The seller denied getting 44 quid off me, he claimed it was 34.
However, i keep a detailed tab of my cash and purchases and i write everyrhing down, so I checked all my money/ calculations after getting back home. The tenner was missing, indeed.
It was dishonest of the seller.
Make sure what amount you give and expect change. Even if steaks are ok, it's not worth to get cheated this way.
Visited late Monday to get something for supper. Bought a pork pie. Got home to find past its use by date. Very disappointed
Absolutely quality Meat Vegetables, Fruit and home made jams and cakes, always buy my eggs from here and the cakes and bread pudding are excellent, please give them a try I found them in the first lockdown and used them eversince.
