Bought a meat pie and a lemon bun for my lunch. The lady told me this was £8.80. I queried this, and was told 5.80 as she thought I had ordered a sandwich. I quickly paid and left as my truck was parked outside on the narrow road. Upon later checking the prices through their Facebook page the pie was £2.50 and the Lemon bun £2.00. How on earth does that equate to £5.80?
What can I say?! Wow! I have had the famous Lemon Buns and Vanilla Slice in the past but today was the first time I have tried a sandwich from Brassingtons. I had the Breakfast Vienna; I definitely won’t need to eat my tea today! Incredible.
The staff also make it a warm and welcoming environment, will definitely recommend to friends and family!

Massive ham and egg vienna yesterday that I had to cut into 4. Then an absolutely devine home made lemon drizzle cake..Superb. Thank you x. ????????????????????????
Really nice place with an excellent selection of delicious cakes and the nicest chips I have had in a long time!
I have had Colin’s Fried Chicken which you can tell is made from quality chicken breast. The steak and cheese baguettes are also excellent - prime cuts of rump. The cold meats are also top quality I asked and the beef is slow cooked on the premises, oh and not to mention the famous lemon buns - they now do mini ones which are perfect for a family treat!
Popped in for a sandwich. Both staff member completely ignored me..I stood waiting whilst other customers walk in to the shop and place there orders.how theycan afford to treat people like this I dont know..the menu is nothing to get excited about..I much prefer dinah,s sandwich del or sandwich heaven . They have a better menu the service is much better... brassingtons seems like a local shop for local people.
Opened today and I have to say Colin and the team have done an amazing job turning the bakery around! The sandwich I bought was amazing and for all the lemon bun lovers of Macclesfield you'll be pleased to know there back and look fantastic. Keep up the good work and you'll be a massive success.
Had a toddle down for lunch and all I can say is this place is going to be a huge success. Much better than it was and they still do lemon buns! Staff are friendly and helpful and the menu is bursting with flavour. Definitely worth a visit
