On holiday in the area so googled fish and chip shops. Bradley's had good reviews so called in for a late takeaway lunch. My husband chose fish and chips (with scraps) and said they were delicious. I went for jumbo sausage, chips and gravy, also delicious. Very generous portions and food piping hot. £13.80 for the two. Great value would highly recommend.
Called again at lunchtime today, still as good as it was four months ago, review below.

My partner and myself moved down the road in Starbeck recently and on the day of moving we wanted a quick tea at the end of the day after all the stress. We arrived quite late, just before closing, but the staff were still very welcoming and happy to put some more fish in the fryer for us. I initially stayed outside with the dog while my partner and friends went in to order, but the staff invited us in with the dog as it was very cold outside. I've never seen a dog friendly chippy before so it's quite refreshing! They even gave our pooch a nice treat! The food was just as good as the service, and we will definitely be returning again.
Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Bradley’s Fish and Chip in Starbeck. We asked them to provide chips for the Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade last night (enough for 45 people). The team were great and couldn’t have been more helpful despite them being super busy. The chip were delicious and we had very happy young people! Thank you!!
As a Grimsby born lad I know what great fish and chips taste like. My mate and I have a tradition of fish and chips before a Grimsby away game. Bradley's sold us the best fish and chips this season. Wish I could say the same about the football. I would certainly return
Lovely staff, great food and they're dog friendly! Our dog Pepper even got a little treat. After a day of moving house the service and kindness was spot on. So glad we have such nice people at our new local chippy! Will 100% be back soon.
Extremely tasty Fish Supper. Very large Fish Portion. Freshest Fish...... Chunky Brilliant White large flakes. NOTHING TO FAULT.
This place constantly misses items off the order, this is now the 3rd time and today they managed to miss a whole order of fish and chips, a mushy peas and a bread bun from an order of 4 portions and had the audacity to tell us once we had driven all the way back to Bilton that the order was correct and they checked it going into the bag…. Clearly not if we are missing a whole order. Anyway we will all be avoiding this place from now on and sticking with Drakes, at least they can count to 4 in there.
