Best KPortal Reviews

I'm amazed at the bad reviews, yes sometimes they can be very busy - they are a pharmacy near three major London hospitals - and a very dense population area - but they always remember my name, and understand my quite complicated condition and I see them calling many other regulars by name. I like them and would recommend them. I'm sorry others seem to have had problems. I don't find anyone there rude, I find them friendly and will do things like ring GP to check etc.
Just visited new owners husband and wife team ..knowledgeable. young and many new ideas..watch this pharmacy take off..lots of new things will be happening..please take a look..A semi retired pharmacist
My experiences are ok. Generally I don't have a problem with the service.
I will request medication on a Monday. I have to phone and ask for it again on a Wednesday or Thursday I am usually told I should have ordered before and have to remind them I had ordered before. I never see any medication until the Friday. I'm seriously considering changing which Pharmacy I use.
I was appalled at the level of rudeness I received today from the chemist himself an d his colleague with short dark hair on the till.
I use this chemist to collect my prescriptions regularly and all but one member of staff are never very friendly at the best of times . I ring to request my prescription they tell me its ready to collect, I go in to collect it and it never seems to be the right time of day for them, I am always asked to come back, 20-30mins later usually it's not too much of a problem for me but don't really understand why. Today I called in to collect, the woman at till couldn't even look at me and said come back in an hour, she really does lack social skills . I said can I sit and wait as I was in pain and couldn't do much walking she said no I would have to come back I am a pensioner disabled and this is a 15 min walk for me, they said it was lunch time they were far too busy, they hadn't had a lunch break, don't come between 12 and 2 for your prescription. I said I have never been told this and the chemist answered well you have now. I was then given, well almost thrown my prescription that was already bagged up and ready to go. Took him less than a minute.
Whilst waiting for my prescription, I dared to mention how beneficial I had found having an NHS prepayment card was to a young lady paying for 6 prescriptions (& paying just under £60).
The pharmacist then launched a tirade at me which lasted quite some time, saying they are experts & I should keep to my own business.
(JFYI - 3 months prepayment card costs £30 & could have been done online there & then - and would mean free prescriptions for this period - a year one costs ~£108)
This also greatly shocked the young lady, who after leaving, waited for me outside to offer thanks (& a totally unnecessary from her, apology)
Exactly the sort of experience one needs from the chemist closest to Great Ormond Street Hospital!
The pharmacist (male) is a rude individual. In the past when I've asked questions he always says he is too busy to help. Thank goodness his staff don't feel the same way as they have a totally different attitude to him and thankfully have not forgotten that part of their role is to serve the community particularly in these difficult times.
I have overall had a positive experience but a rude experience with one of the female pharmacist left a sour taste. Had my hands full and just put down my cup of coffee (with a lid) on the gums to pay for my prescription and she LOST IT (it didn't even occur to her to ask me to not place my coffee their nicely). Her coworkers, especially the main pharmacist, was kind but they did not seem surprised by her irate behavior nor did they stop her. Very disappointed as otherwise this is a lovely place
The whole team is so wonderful. They genuinely care about their customers! They recognize me when I come in, even though I’m new to the neighborhood, which makes it feel like a small town chemist. During lockdown, they did everything they could to ensure I was getting my medication on time. Thank you all!
