This might have been the coolest place on our trip in Skye! Incredibly friendly - with two very cute dogs from the ACE place next door - and really great tacos. Beautiful view, great food- can’t beat it. Definitely worth the drive and would love to come back ASAP!
A must try place in Portree if you are looking for Mexican food options. The Best part is his home made Tacos / Nachos. I can't remember the name of it, but there is one that he is mixing with chocolate and literally blowed my mind of how good was it!!!

Such a lovely mexican van, very friendly staff, and one of the nicest takeaway we have had in a long time with a very good take away and nachos to share (meat and cheese). It's situated 2 minutes far from Portree on the Struan road. There is car park and there are 2 tables to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful views, we'll come back :)
This lovely van was at Glenshiel campsite, we called in on Monday when it was absolutely banging it down. Placed our orders and patiently waited.
The lovely fella fetched our order out ( we sat in the car, and would have gone back had he indicated to us) bless him and even gave us some nachos for waiting.
Absolutely amazing tasty food. So fresh and full of flavour. We were happy and stuffed. Can't wait to go on our next trip up ????
This place is amazing. I don’t know why this chap has a taco truck outside of town on the Isle of Skye… but I am so glad he does! All the food (blue corn tortillas included). Are hand-made on the spot. Kid-friendly and delicious.
Brilliant wee food shack in a converted camping trailer selling mexican food. Really tasty and a great little stop, very surprising (and cool) to find on Skye!
We were a group of 5 and were able to get lunch without too much of a wait. Definitely recommend ????
Absolutely fantastic Tacos! Also try the Quesadillas with the sauce! Some of the freshest food we have had in Scotland so far! A must for when you are in Portree! Take away and then go look for a place with a nice view- perfect!
Absolutely delicious mexican food! This is honestly the best food I had on Isle of Skye. We worked up an appetite by doing the axe-throwing experience right next door, after which the owner personally delivered the food to us. Skip the crowds and head over to this hidden gem food truck for some incredible home-made tacos and quasedillas. The mole chicken was particularly memorable, so we ordered a second portion!
