Stylishly refurbed pub that also do breakfasts & cakes. Also events such as pub quiz especially, gin fizz & canapes
We went to a Tapas night and were blown away with the food. It was superb and plentiful. The atmosphere was very pleasant and romantic. The staff were lovely and greeted us with a drink on arrival.
The restaurant is 3 miles from Caerwys so is near enough to come too often , which we will be doing.
As at July 2018 the place is closed down and deserted. I am not sure when it closed but there really should be no sensible reason given they were able to serve reasonable quality food!
This review was written some time ago when the pub was the black lion.
During early 2019 the pub has obviously changed hands and been given a refurbishment as well as a name change.
Open hours seem mainly morning and early afternoon so we have been unable to try it out for quality but we hope to do so soon.
Great place, good quality food and coffee! Cater for veggies and will make dishes for vegans too. Very clean, comfy seating and very friendly staff and with plenty of free parking!
Had a lovely lunch with friendly staff who were dog friendly. Could do with making menu font bigger and bit clearer. Other than that ... faultless. Mrs Williams
Was doing a 2 hour walk this morning & called at Blend 92@ The Black Lion for breakfast, it was all freshly cooked & was very filling & tasty, all the staff are very friendly & i would definitely recommend this place, i will certainly be calling again!
Fantastic surroundings. Best coffee I have had in ages so smooth, georgous breakfast, staff are a brilliant laugh. Going to go back ????
Cappuccinos are lovely. Halloumi stack was fab. Always nice atmosphere and to hear Erica singing away whilst she works ????
